Little Mix blast Katie Hopkins as "a really sad person" after the former Apprentice star calls the girls chubby

Katie Hopkins seems to be set to self-destruct at the moment. Not only is she slamming ginger children everywhere as being "harder to love" AND admitting to judging children by their names, but she's only gone and called Little Mix chubby.
For realsies, yeah.
Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock performed their new single Move on the X Factor this weekend, much to the delight of their fans, but the moment was soured by Katie taking to Twitter and making some seriously weighty comments.
“Packet Mix have still got a chubber in their ranks. Less Little Mix. More Pick n Mix,” she tweeted during the show this weekend.
And, after the band's fans responded with outrage, she added: "Little Mix have got some fans. Iccle angry girlie ones with rebellious piercings. And long socks."
OH NO SHE DI'NT!
Little Mix member Jade is understandably seething with Katie and slammed her for spreading negativity.
“I just think she [Hopkins] is a really sad person... I think it’s really sad that she has to try and find some kind of limelight by slating everyone else,” the songstress told the Huffington Post.

“She wouldn’t have a job if she wasn’t horrible about people and I find that really sad. Can’t she just get a normal job and be nice about people?”

 

Apparently not, sadly. But we're not sure why people (we're looking at you, This Morning) keep paying her money to be a big ol' meanie.

Thankfully the band have their fans to keep them strong - and Jesy made sure to thank them for it: “Our fans are literally amazing, they will defend us till the day we die... to be honest they are what keep us strong.”
Move is now sitting pretty at number two in the iTunes chart. So we guess Katie Hopkins can go suck a lemon or something.
