Lady Gaga and Dot Cotton are BFFs. We're totally serious.
Graham Norton, bless him, is a sort of twinkly-eyed matchmaker to the stars. But, rather than matching them romantically, the BBC favourite is busily setting them up with new best friends.
The latest of which is, surprisingly, Lady Gaga and Eastenders star June Brown.
Yeah, Dot Cotton.
The duo, who are set to appear on Graham's show at 10.35pm tomorrow, got on like a house on fire. Which may be due to the fact that Mother Monster is a secret Enders fan.
"You look amazing. I am a really big fan of yours. You are fabulously dressed. I am honoured to be sitting next to you," she told June, who smiled sweetly at the praise.
And then Gaga, after grabbing a sip from June's glass of wine, added: "I want to drink from your cup to see what those genes are."
We're not sure that makes sense, to be honest, but June, being June, took it all in her stride. The Eastenders legend even admitted she had dressed up in a revealing frock to match Gaga’s wacky ensembles, joking: “I had to out-do her!”
Gaga, having none of it, told her: “You look amazing.”
Cute, huh?
June also made sure to dish out some advice to Mother Monster, referencing the singer's latest single as she did so: “As for ‘Do what you want with my body’, I don’t advise you say that to everybody.”
YOU LISTEN TO DOT COTTON, LADY GAGA! SHE PROBABLY HAS A BIBLE VERSE TO BACK IT UP AND EVERYTHING.
An insider revealed to The Sun that Gaga and June's friendship could be a long lasting one, saying: “Gaga and June really hit it off. June was thrilled when Gaga said she was a fan.
“British soaps are the in thing for American pop superstars.”
We want to see some Instagram selfless of Dot and Gaga. And a cameo for Mother Monster on Eastenders. And… and… and, like, a special telly event where June, as Dot, sits down with Gaga in a 1950s living room and talks to her about her feelings.
