J.Lo and Marc Anthony Sued for Stealing 'Q'Viva' Idea

A man claimed he came to his and her production companies about a reality show where two famous Latinos travel in search for talent.

Jennifer Lopez and her ex husband Marc Anthony are sued for allegedly ripping off someone else's concept of reality show. A man named John Jacobs filed a lawsuit in New York, claiming the couple stole his idea for "Q'Viva! The Chosen".

The Latin American talent show is produced by the ex-spouses and was premiered in March last year on FOX. Jacobs said in his lawsuit that he pitched in his show idea "Miami Beach: The Game" in 2007 and 2008 to Marc Anthony Productions and Lopez's Nuyorican Productions. His idea was to combine two well-known Latino celebrities who would travel in search of the next big superstar.

Per TMZ, Jacobs said the companies expressed their interest at first but did not return his calls afterwards. Jacobs realized that his idea was stolen when seeing the ads for "Q'Viva". He said in the lawsuit, "They were so similar that they were twins."

Jacobs is suing for $25 million after not getting a response from Univision that aired the Latin version of the show. Meanwhile, Marc Anthony Productions did not give any comment on the lawsuit.

Kim Kardashian turned down by Adidas after Kanye West tried to get her a ‘deal’

Kim Kardashian has been turned down by sportswear giant Adidas after Kanye West tried to bag her a collaboration deal, so guess she’ll have to sob and cry into the $40 million or so that she’s managed to amass over the past half decade instead. A source told The Sun that Kanye – who recently defected to Adidas from Nike because Adidas offered him more money – tried to wangle a deal for Kim, pitching a his ‘n’ hers type situation to the brand. They said the corporate equivalent of, ‘No, you’re alright mate’.

“Kanye suggested the idea but Adidas declined,” a source told the paper. “So he’ll have to make do with just one range in the family.”

There is one silver lining to this cloud, though: “He’s thinking of having Kim model his gear when it eventually comes out,” the source said. So that will be nice for her, won’t it? Something to do. Little cash-in-hand modelling gig.

Kanye recently ‘got angry’ at Nike CEO Mark Parker, after he refused to pay Kanye an additional fee for designing the company’s Air Yeezy shoe.

“Mark Parker tried to son me,” he told an audience at one of his music shows. “Yes, son me. Because I am the sun and I will shine bright. And when I don’t have as much money as a billionaire – and when I don’t have the factories that that dude has over there – what I do have is my voice.

A source told Life & Style, “Selena is very close to making an offer on a house inside the Calabasas development where Justin lives. She looked at other neighborhoods, but really fell in love with a home near Justin’s.” Here’s hoping she can put up with Justin’s notorious parties that the rest of his neighbours have been complaining about…

So, with them living in such close quarters, could a reunion be on the cards? The source doesn’t think so – they said, “Selena’s definitely happy she isn’t with Justin anymore".

Selena recently opened up to Teen Vogue about her break up with Justin and her relationships. She said, “You fall in love and it completely consumes you. So a part of you is broken when that's gone. And part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you're just like, 'Forget it, I can do anything I want.' I've tried it and I've never been that girl. Angry Miley Cyrus fans launch online petition after she cancels her appearance at a gig because of a snow storm

You REALLY don’t want to see Miley Cyrus fans when they’re angry… Her fans were left feeling pretty miffed when Miley cancelled her appearance at the Kiss 108 Jingle Ball in Boston after a snow storm meant she was stranded at an airport in New Jersey.

While most people would probably be quite sympathetic to Miley’s predicament, some fans have launched a petition after paying hundreds of dollars to see Miley on stage, and are asking for Miley to return to Massachussets to perform a free show for ticket holders.

Miley was billed to perform alongside twerking partner Robin Thicke and Fall Out Boy, and tweeted “As much as I've thoroughly enjoyed the Teterboro Airport I would REALLY love to be playing #jingleball #Boston”

Concert goers claimed they were not told that Miley wouldn’t be performing until the end of the show and were denied refunds. The petition on Change.org states, “Every other act who performed at the New York Jingle Ball the night before made it to Boston. Why did Miley not plan for the snow and leave earlier? It seems the other acts did just that. She could have taken a car or a train if the airport was shut down... We paid to see Miley, who was headlining the show! If not a refund then Kiss 108 FM should organise a free Miley concert for Jingle Ball ticket holders."

The petition has already attracted signatures from 120 angry Smilers, which has actually led to the organisers of the gig to have begun talks with Miley’s people to try and appease the fans. We hope they get their free gig – we don’t want to see hundreds of angry twerkers storming Massachussets!

Sean Paul Releases 'Riot' Music Video Ft. Damian Marley

Directed by Jon J, the new video shows the two entertainers laying verses in an abandoned building.

The official music video for Sean Paul's collaboration with Damian Marley, "Riot", has arrived online. The three-minute visuals gives glimpses at the two musicians laying their respective verses in an abandoned building before several people storm the building and cause disaster.

The video was shot in Miami by director Jon J, who has previously worked with Paul on his "Other Side of Love" clip. "I feel like this time was better because I believe he trusts my vision now, and it was definitely a bigger and more fun set for him to work on," he said of reuniting with Paul.

Of working with Marley for the first time, the director said, "Honestly, it was just an honor to be able to work with Damian. He was very humble and easy to work with. Couldn't ask for anything else from an artiste of his stature."

"Riot" is featured in "Full Frequency", Paul's new album that is set to be released on February 18, 2014.

Brad Pitt Courted Anew for Tom Cruise's Car Racing Drama 'Go Like Hell'

If the deal is finalized, the Ford and Ferrari movie will mark the first reunion between the 'Interview with the Vampire' co-stars.

It looks like a reunion between Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise is happening. The Hollywood Reporter learns that the "World War Z" actor is in a new negotiation to star in "Go Like Hell", a movie about real-life rivalry between Ford and Ferrari.

Pitt was actually attached to star in the true-story drama when it was planned as a directing vehicle for Michael Mann in 2009. The movie now has a new crew with Joseph Kosinski ("Oblivion") serving as the helmer and Cruise landing one of the main roles.

But the "Moneyball" star remains interested and is believed to have met the movie's new team. If he is signed on, it will be his first on-screen reunion with the "Jack Reacher" actor since their pairing in 1994's "Interview with Vampire".

Based on A.J. Baime's book, it revolves around Ford and Ferrari's battle for dominance in the sports car marketplace which led to Ford challenging Ferrari at the 1966 Le Mans race using a car designed by Carroll Shelby. Jez and John-Henry Butterworth are writing a new draft for the script. Cruise is attached to play Shelby.

Justin Bieber Teases 'Confident' Music Video Ft. Chance the Rapper

In one of the pictures, the pop superstar is seen joined by several dancers in an abandoned warehouse.

Justin Bieber is readying a music video for his collaboration with Chance the Rapper, "Confident". On Wednesday, December 18, the Canadian singer posted two Instagram photos which were taken from the video filming set.

In the first picture, Bieber is seen wearing a gold chain, a white T-shirt, a gray cardigan, a pair of glasses and white sneakers while touching some pipes. In another picture, Bieber stands with several dancers in what looks like an abandoned warehouse.

There's still no word on when the video will arrive. Bieber only said, "#confident music video coming soon."

"Confident" was released earlier this month and came as the last song off his 10-week Music Mondays series. The track will also be featured in "Journals", the collection of Bieber's new songs and videos that is scheduled to be released on December 23.

Bieber recently made headlines after talking about his plan to retire after putting out a new album. In a recent radio interview, he said, "I'm actually retiring, man. I'm retiring." However, Bieber's rep has made it clear that the star wasn't serious with his words.

Barbara Walters has unveiled her Most Fascinating Person of 2013. Revealed during her annual ABC special "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013" on Wednesday, December 18, the person who landed on the top spot of her list was Hillary Clinton.

Walters also looked back at the past 20 years of doing the special and named the former U.S. Secretary of State her most fascinating person of the past 20 years. "This program started with the dawn of the Clinton era, and it seems we might be at the start of another," she explained.

Clinton had been selected as the Most Fascinating Person of the year twice before by Walters. The wife of former U.S. President Bill Clinton earned the title in 1993, when Walters first began her annual ABC special, and later in 2003.

Asked by Walters during the interview if she's going to run for president in 2016, Clinton said, "It's such a difficult decision and it's one that I am not going to rush into." She added, "I haven't made up my mind. I will look carefully at what I think I can do and make that decision sometime next year."

A source in the production told Daily Mirror of James' reaction, "James is a massive Britney fan. He nearly faints when he spots Britney because he thinks the surprise is having afternoon tea at The Savoy and then Britney walks in with a tray of scones and he can't believe it. It was a lovely surprise, even if it was a little overwhelming for James."

Simon Cowell Confirms Demi Lovato's Exit From 'The X Factor (US)'

Demi Lovato is indeed leaving "The X Factor (US)". After reports emerged that the "Skyscraper" songstress would not return to the show as a judge for the fourth season, Simon Cowell confirmed the news.

"I always knew she wasn't coming back because she's touring, so I knew that," the British music producer said on the red carpet after the Top 3 final performance show on Wednesday night, December 18. Lovato herself told reporters after the show, "In 2014, I'm going to dedicate it entirely to music, touring and making a new album."

Earlier the same day, a source told People.com, "She plans to spend next year completely focused on her music." The source added that Lovato "had a great run and a good time," but the show's demanding schedule conflicted with the former "Sonny with a Chance" star's plans for 2014.

Lovato joined "X Factor (US)" in its second season, being added to the judge line-up along with Britney Spears. She returns for her second season this year.

A source says that the star, who is currently busy filming 'Fury' in London, 'really doesn't want to talk about his birthday much.'

Brad Pitt apparently did not prepare anything special to celebrate his birthday. According to an Us Weekly report, the star who turned 50 on December 18 was busy filming his action movie "Fury" and was not really interested in celebrating the milestone.

"He's not doing anything for it and he said he doesn't want any surprises," a source said. The actor apparently was self-conscious about turning 50. "He really doesn't want to talk about his birthday much," the source added.

According to the source, Pitt will celebrate his birthday with Angelina Jolie and their children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox in Australia. "Brad said he's going to celebrate his birthday this weekend in Australia. That's going to be the only thing he does," the source explained, adding that the family would not be at home for the holidays. "They're used to celebrating wherever they're working."

Pitt and his family were most recently seen having a yacht ride together on Tuesday, December 3. The two stars rented the luxury yacht which features four bedrooms, sound entertainment, guest quarters, a jet ski and wakeboard and had fun on the yacht. "They spent hours on the boat with the kids who were really cute and friendly," an eyewitness said at that time.

Pitt is currently working on the World War II flick in London. The source said that the project had been draining, but it was "worth it." The source commented, "The film is going to be amazing."

Beyonce's New Album Tops Billboard 200, R. Kelly's 'Black Panties' Arrives at No. 4

As it was previously reported, Beyonce Knowles' new self-titled album "Beyonce" enters Billbord 200 at No. 1. Nielsen Soundscan reports that the 14-song and 17-music video set, which arrived unexpectedly on Friday, December 13, has sold 617,000 copies in its first week.

It marks the singer's fifth consecutive studio album to top the chart. It also gives Beyonce her biggest sales week, surpassing her 2006 album "B'Day" which opened with 541,000. "Beyonce" is currently available only on iTunes, while other retailers will receive the album's physical copy between December 18 and December 20.

The newest record by the former Destiny's Child member immediately dethrones last week's No. 1, Garth Brooks' "Blame It All on My Roots". The country superstar's 6-CD and 2-DVD set falls to No. 2 with 172,000.

Staying at No. 3, Kelly Clarkson's "Wrapped in Red" sells additional 136,000. Another new entry on the top 10 this week is R. Kelly's "Black Panties", which arrives at No. 4 with 133,000. It's the highest charting album for the R&B singer since his "Untitled" debuted and peaked at No. 4 back in 2009.

Demi Lovato Planning to Quit 'The X Factor'

The singer, who has been with the show for two years, reportedly is to concentrate on her music next year.

There's a word going around that Demi Lovato is on the verge of leaving her judging seat on "The X Factor (US)". Planning to focus on her music, the 21-year-old singer is due to embark on her first arena tour next year.

"She plans to spend next year completely focused on her music," a source told People. Lovato, who has joined the competition show since 2012, has enjoyed her stint but the show's demanding schedule conflicted with her plans for 2014.

Lovato released her fourth studio album in May this year but she has been occupied with the show that she didn't have a chance to tour in support of the effort. Her tour will kick off February 9 in Vancouver, featuring "X Factor" alumni Cher Lloyd, Little Mix and Fifth Harmony.

"The X Factor" season 3 finale aired Wednesday, December 18. It has not exactly been a good year rating-wise even after the addition of Paulina Rubio and Kelly Rowland. The recent season's premiere was down 22% from season 2 outing and the rating had steadily declined over the weeks. There's a rumor that the show will get the axe, and Lovato's exit will be untimely.

Lovato has not confirmed the report but hinted previously that she would love to take a break. "I will take the month of January completely off!" she said. "I want to vacation! I want to watch crime shows on my DVR on my couch ... I need to do some exercising and I don't really have time to do it. I love horseback riding and never get to do that stuff, but January is my time to do all of that."

Miley Cyrus Unveils Rosy Artwork for New Single 'Adore You'

The single, which serves as the follow-up to chart-topping 'Wrecking Ball', will impact Top 40 radio on January 6, 2014.

Miley Cyrus has confirmed "Adore You" as the third single off her latest album which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 earlier this year, "Bangerz". On Wednesday, December 18, the former Disney star took to Twitter to share the cover art for the track.

"New single & video coming soon," she captioned an image of her holding a bouquet of pink roses. "Adore You" is a slow ballad which was written and produced by Stacy Barthe and Oren Yoel. The song will impact Top 40 radio on January 6, 2014.

The song will serve as the follow-up to "Wrecking Ball", which hit No. 1 on Billboard 100 thanks to its provocative music video.

Cyrus is currently gearing up to embark on her "Bangerz" tour. Featuring guests Icona Pop and Sky Ferreira, the 38-date trek is set to kick off in Vancouver on February 14, 2014 and wrap up in New York on April 24.

The "We Can't Stop" singer is also preparing herself to join other performers at Ryan Seacrest's New Year's Rocking Eve" which will be held in Times Square, New York.

Lorde Says She Has 'Nothing Against Anyone Getting Naked'

Lorde admits in an interview with V magazine that she is a 'hugely sex-positive person,' but won't use sexuality for her music because 'it just hasn't felt necessary for me.'

Lorde says it is not necessary for her to promote her music using sexuality. The New Zealand-born singer talks about female singers using sexuality for their benefits in a new interview with V magazine, saying that she has nothing against the behavior.

"People like to paint me in a certain way, but I'm a hugely sex-positive person and I have nothing against anyone getting naked. For me personally I just don't think it really would complement my music in any way or help me tell a story any better. It's not like I have a problem with dancing around in undies - I think you can use that stuff in a hugely powerful way. It just hasn't felt necessary for me," she explains.

Speaking of her skyrocketing fame, the "Royals" singer says, "It's pretty mental, really. I made this music in New Zealand at 15 years old with my producer, who was 28 - just these two random losers, really. Now all these people like it, and they care about what I have to say, which is nice, because I'm the weirdo for sure. For the most part, people have been really supportive. I feel very grateful."
The 17-year-old star, who has been involved with record companies since she was 12, added, "The power and control is with the young people now.
