Demi Lovato has babies on the brain: "OK, it's time to have babies!"

 


Demi Lovato, bless her, has admitted that she's ready to become a mum. Her heart is crying out for it! But that doesn't mean she's about to pack in her career and get down to making babies.
“I’m a Texas girl, so my instinct is to have babies early. In my heart I’m like, ‘Okay, it’s time to have babies!’” she explained to Latina magazine.

“[But] I have so much life ahead of me that I actually have to slow my roll. We’ll see where my life is in five years, but I definitely see myself as a mom in ten.”

 

Very sensible, Demi - although we have a feeling you'd be a natural when it comes to motherhood. Especially as, listening to the singer's fond memories of the Feed The Children experience (a charity-based trip to Africa), it's easy to see that it's working alongside little kids that makes her happiest.
“At one point this little boy named Ian came over. I picked him up and we just connected. He was just so sweet, and he kept saying my name over and over again.
“It was really hard to say good-bye to him. They also held a birthday celebration for me. They gave me a goat, which was pretty cool!”
So who does the Heart Attack songstress see herself having babies with?

"I look for someone who makes me laugh. Because 20, 30 years from now, sometimes the spark fades, but when you're with someone who's your best friend — that's what makes a relationship last."

 

Wise head, young shoulders, great voice. What more could you want from a teen icon, eh?
