Erm Diana Vickers, we haven’t seen you like this before! Diana has transformed from bare-footed singer into a super sexy pop hotty in her new FHM shoot.
While Diana has a body to kill for, she admits she was nervous about stripping off for the shoot. She said, “Before the shoot, I was really scared about taking my clothes off in front of everyone, but I got into it, and it was really good fun. I’ve been brought up with FHM so it’s a real honour to be asked to be on the cover!”
She added: “I don’t see myself as a sex symbol at all, but I know it’s part of my job to be kind of sexy. I just don’t really think of myself like that.”
Diana first came to fame as a contestant on the X Factor in 2008, where she famously liked to perform barefoot. She says, “I was 16 – I didn’t know who I was. I wasn’t an artist, I didn’t write my own music, I didn’t know what I wanted to be. Now I’m 22 and I know the sort of artist I want to be. And when I perform, I wear shoes!”
“I think maybe (the X Factor) should go away for a few years and come back again fresh. When you see something too much it’s good to step away from it and then come back to it. It makes you appreciate it a bit more.”
