Just like Kate Middleton, Prince George has been named a fashion icon. AT FOUR MONTHS OLD!
Kate Middleton (we know, we know - she's Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge now) has been something of a fashion trendsetter since she joined the Royal Family in 2011 as Prince William's wife.
And now it seems as if her baby son is following in her well-heeled footsteps. Presumably without the heels.
Yup, at just four months old, Prince George has been named one of 2013's most influential fashion icons.
Despite the fact the future king has only been seen out and about in a swaddling blanket and a ridiculously lacy Angelia Kelly christening gown.
So how did this happen?
Well according to John Lewis (who compiled the list), it was Prince George's appearance on the steps of the Lindo Wing as St Mary's Hospital, just HOURS after his birth, that earned him the title of trendsetter.
The blanket he was swaddled in saw a 600% sales increase after his big moment (every baby wants to be swaddled like a royal baby, right?), making him one seriously influential and ultra-fashionable baby.
So there we have it, kids; we should all start dressing in cute bird-printed blankets this winter.
It goes without saying that Prince George is in good company! Other top trendsetters in the John Lewis report include his mum (naturally), Cara Delevingne, Harry Styles and Alexa Chung.
We can't imagine how Harper Beckham and Suri Cruise will have taken this news...
