Pharrell sobs tears of Happy-ness as he chats with Oprah

As if we didn’t love Pharrell enough already, he opened up to Oprah showing his gratitude to fans for the success of debut single ‘happy’.

When we first watched the video, admittedly we were distracted by his ridiculous, huge hat that seems to have taken over the world (with it’s own Twitter account and over 40K followers), but we quickly realised that this was an emotional subject matter for Mr. Williams!

Oprah rolls the tape showing a number of different videos from across the world, that fans sent in showing there own crazy ways of being happy and cue, the blubbering begins. Pharell through sniffles states "Its overwhelming because I love what I do, I just appreciate that people have believed in me for so long". Nawww!

We can’t help but worry for Pharrell that he is living in a state of constant oxymoron, not knowing whether to be happy or sad. Although we do have to confess – the song is contagiously happy, and this video does make us a little weepy ourselves.

The Royal baby was treated to a new gift yesterday evening during Prince William and Kate Middleton's tour of Australia and New Zealand, and seemed to fall in love with his new friend on the spot.

The Governor-General, Sir Peter Cosgrove, handed over this giant cuddly wombat and the little prince reached out a fist (look at that arm! So cute!) to stroke its nose.

Unfortunately, the way his dad was holding said toy looked a bit like he was doing something unspeakable to it, but we'll brush over that.

The Royal family are quickly adding to George's stuffed animal collection, as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also given a toy replica of the 12-week-old police puppies they met in Wellington.

Wonder if there are any more nanny vacancies opening up soon at Kensington Palace…?

Sky Ferreira Premieres 'I Blame Myself' Music Video

The clip finds the singer hanging out with some friends at a dangerous-looking area of Compton before getting arrested.

The full visuals for Sky Ferreira's latest single "I Blame Myself" has landed online for fans' viewing pleasure. The video, which was directed by Grant Singer, was premiered on SSENSE on Wednesday, April 16.

In the clip, Ferreira is featured hitting a dangerous-looking area of Compton, hanging out with some male friends and doing a choreographed dance routine with them. In another scene, the 21-year-old starlet is seen getting arrested and later taking off her clothes while she's being interrogated.

"It's obviously based off of real events... people always ask me questions about certain things, and it's kind of like my response. I think actions speak louder than words," she said of the video in a behind-the-scene clip. She's apparently referring to her drug arrest last fall.

"I Blame Myself" is the latest single off "Night Time, My Time", Ferreira's debut studio album that was released last year. The singer is currently serving as the opening act on Miley Cyrus' "Bangerz" tour to support the record.

One Direction Shares 'You and I' Music Video Teaser

The full music video, directed by Ben Winston, will premiere on Vevo on Friday, April 18.

One Direction has shared a teaser for the upcoming music video of their new single, "You & I". Arriving via Vevo on Wednesday, April 16, the 47-second black-and-white clip sees the five boys braving the cold weather at Clevedon Pier outside of Somerset, England.

A band member can be heard saying that they're "doing something very different on this video." "It feels slightly more serious for us, and I think it's an important song for us," another member adds. The full visuals, directed by Ben Winston, will premiere on Vevo on Friday, April 18.

"You & I" was co-written by Julian Bunetta, Jamie Scott and John Ryan. In another teaser shared on One Direction's Instagram, Liam Payne says, "Personally, I think it's one of our best songs. It's just such a big track and it's more grown-up for us."

The ballad serves as the fourth single off their "Midnight Memories" album. Having also spawned "Best Song Ever", "Story of My Life" and title track "Midnight Memories", the record landed at No. 1 on Billboard 200 after it was released late last year.

P Diddy is getting an honorary degree from his university, despite never actually graduating

Rap star, film star and now honorary graduate. P Diddy, 44, is set to be honoured by Howard University in Washington DC and give a keynote speech on May 10.

However, there’s a bit of an issue, as it seems Diddy (real name Sean Combs) didn’t graduate. P Diddy didn’t graduate!? P-Did-he graduate? No, he Diddy didn’t.

The star dropped out of his business course back in 1990 to pursue a career in music, which obviously worked well for him, but probably isn’t much of an inspiring story for academic rigour.

One student wrote on Twitter: "Can someone explain why Diddy, a person who never graduated from Howard, is speaking at graduation?"

Another tweeted: "diddy is gonna make the commencement speech at Howard but what is he gonna say. 'Well I dropped outta here & got rich but good luck (sic).'"

However Diddy didn’t care, as Diddy posted a long post on Instagram professing how proud he is of the accolade.

He wrote: "For one of the first times in my life I am truly speechless. There are no words to describe the feeling I had when I heard the news that @HowardU was presenting me with an Honorary Doctorate degree and inviting me to give the keynote commencement address on May 10th. @howardU I'm coming home! Thank you to @WFrederickMD, the Howard University Board of Trustees and all of the students of Howard University #TurnUp #Bison4Life."

General music festival etiquette dictates that you spend as little time near the stinking mounds of human poo masquerading as toilet blocks as possible, so why has Justin Bieber just eaten a ton of greasy Mexican food on his way to Coachella?

The Biebster reportedly stopped off at Pinches Tacos on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood en route to the famous Californian festival and ordered $240 (£143) worth of tacos, burritos and nachos for him and his entourage to munch on.

According to TMZ, the singer demanded 21 steak and chicken tacos, two meat burritos, nine chicken tostadas and a load of chip n' dips when he pulled in at the celebrity hotspot.

He then apparently left a $55 tip on his credit card before roaring off down the road to the festival.

Aww. He's not all bad, is he? Though we really don't want to be waiting in the queue behind him at those Coachella loos.

Looking red hot in this Dolce and Gabbana dress, it’s Lea Michele vs. Selena Gomez in today's Who Wore It Best? and it’s a tough one! While both ladies paired this number with a pair of trusty black court shoes, these are two completely different looks.

Selena was the first to wear the gorgeous gown to the ESPYs in March 2013 and opted for colour co-ordinating her nails and lips, adding a splash of gold with minimal jewellery.

Ms Gomez chopped a few inches from the hemline, turning this elegant midi into a party-ready mini. And with legs like those, who wouldn’t?

Maybe rubbing shoulders with the likes of Diane Keaton at the L’Oreal Women of Worth Awards calls for a more prim and proper look, as Lea left the hemline longer for her event in December last year.

Creating a more sophisticated look with her hair pulled back in a textured plait, Lea made sure nothing distracted from the dress. Her simple make-up look, a nude lip, nude nails and smoky eyes gave her an effortless glow.

Are Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher expecting a baby girl?

Mila Kunis and her fiancé Ashton Kutcher are reportedly expecting a baby girl, even though neither of them have officially confirmed their 'pregnancy'.

Us Weekly reports that the Hollywood couple will be welcoming a little daughter when Mila gives birth later this year, and Ashton is apparently over the moon with the news.

An unnamed source told the magazine that Ashton has had "plenty of practice" with girls as he was stepdad to Demi Moore's daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah when he was married to their mum.

Another friend of the pair told the publication that "Ashton is doting on Mila" and that the Ted star "absolutely loves being pregnant".

Mila and Ashton met on the set of That '70s Show years ago, but didn't get together until 2012, after Ashton and Demi broke up.



While both of them are keeping schtum about their impending arrival, Mila has been spotted at parental yoga classes in Hollywood and eating a ton of Mexican food, which - as everyone knows - is the best thing for expectant mums.

She was also seen at the MTV Movie Awards last Sunday putting her hand across her stomach - aka the universal sign for 'I'm totally having a secret baby, nobody ask me about it, yeah?'.

If it's true, the baby will be the first child for both Mila, 30, and Ashton, 36.

Beyonce and Jay Z are reportedly set to tour together this coming summer.

The couple often join one another on stage – who could forget their Grammy’s performance earlier this year – so we think this would be a great idea.

Yes, the possibility of a full scale Carter family musical really could be on the cards. They could get Blue Ivy on the tambourine...

Sources close to the pair let slip of their alleged plans earlier this week, suggesting that they are mulling over the idea of doing a 20 date tour, set in stadiums across the US.

And, according to reports in the US, rehearsals are set to start next month, with the concerts planned to start in June.

The couple have got a fair amount of time on their hands now, especially as Jay finished his Magna Carter tour in January, and Bey wrapped up her Mrs Carter show in March, so this could be really happening.

Until then we can pray, and watch just watch their videos on repeat, we suppose…

Prince William and Kate Middleton pose for selfie-portraits with Australian well-wishers

It's been a good month for royal pictures. First there were the super-cute pics of baby George at his first playgroup in New Zealand, now the royal couple have been snapped in a series of selfies with Australian well-wishers.

One picture was taken by Nina Kiwarkis, who is waiting for a heart and lung transplant, Miss Kiwarkis, 52, said: ‘I thought William would say no but he didn’t. He wished me well.’

Another was taken by Chloe Skafte, a 19-year-old student, who gave Kate a bunch of flowers befoe taking the pic.

The series of selfies have proved a hit on Twitter with many of them being retweeted hundreds of times, including one of a teenager from Christchurch high-fiving Kate with the hashtag #BestSelfieEver.
