Singer David Bowie is poised to star in a TV ad for luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton, set in a masked ball in Venice

David Bowie is set to grace screens playing a harpsicord in Venice, but it's not his next music video, instead, it's an advert for Louis Vuitton.

The 66-year-old singer will star opposite model Arizona Muse in a three-minute film set around a masked ball in Venice as part of the French fashion house's 'L'Invitation au Voyage' campaign.
I'd Rather Be High, one of the tracks from Bowie's first album for 10 years, The Next Day, will provide the soundtrack.

Muse lands in Venice's Piazza San Marco on a hot air balloon and is serenaded by Bowie in a magnificent palazzo.

"David Bowie is an iconic artist," a Louis Vuitton spokesperson told The Times. "He was seduced by the role we asked him to play and by the idea of re-orchestrating the song I'd Rather Be High."

Muse said the identity of her co-star was shrouded in such secrecy that she did not know it was David Bowie until her arrived in Italy for filming.

The advert will be available to view vai an app on November 7 and screened during Homeland on Channel 4 on November 10.
A print campaign in which Bowie will co-star alongside the brand's Vivienne bag (seen below) and Tambour Evolution watch is also planned.

Kate Upton’s secret love of golf

Golf Digest lifts the lid on December cover girl Kate Upton's passion for the gentlemanly sport

American model Kate Upton is au fait with the world of sports journalism owing to her cover girl and editorial work for Sports Illustrated. Her recent coup as the December 2013 face of Golf Digest will perhaps be more surprising for those who thought Kate had waved goodbye to sport in favour of high fashion editorials for Anna Wintour and Carine Roitfeld.

Not so for professional golfer and Kate's co-cover star, Arnold Palmer; who knew "right away that she was going to be a nice player" upon their meeting at Bay Hill's golfing green.

Palmer explains of Kate's technique: "It was the way she took her grip: a firm hold but not with a lot of tension in her arms. The way she waggled the club was very easy and natural. And her first practice swings were aggressive, like she wanted to hit something."
A past interview with US Elle also acknowledges the 21-year-old's feisty streak, as she lashed out about the people who "deal with models like they are children." How refreshing then for golfing partner Palmer to shower praise on Upton.

"Kate's an athlete... She won five national equestrian championships before she took up modelling. She has all the strength, balance and flexibility that a beginning golfer could ask for," Arnold explains before pointing out Kate's eyes. "They're so sharp and alert. I've never met a really good player who didn't have eagle eyes. They notice everything around them."

10 things we’ve learned about Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, their wedding and baby North

Kim Kardashian has appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and she was full of fascinating facts about her self, her husband-to-be Kanye West, her daughter North West, and her wedding.

1. The proposal was a surprise to Kim and Kim’s family: “The whole family thought they were there for my surprise party, and I thought they were in Arizona. I don't know what [Kanye] told them, but the look on their faces... I saw them come out; I turn around and they're bawling and they're running out to the field.”

2. Despite recently splitting from Kim’s mum Kris Jenner, Kim’s step-dad Bruce Jenner will give her away.

3. Kim wants a “destinational” wedding. Which translated from Kardashian speak means she wants a destination wedding. "I'm feeling some place, like, Parisian, or who knows. Maybe Italy.”

4. And on the subject of Italy. Kimmy revealed that daughter North was conceived in Italy. Just in case you were wondering. No? Us neither really.

5. Kim is definitely changing her last name “My daughter has the last name West and we're a family, so I want it to definitely be West.” But Kim will do a Khloe Kardashian and keep her maiden name as a middle name.

6. All the nasty comments about Kim’s pregnancy weight really deeply upset her: “It changed me a lot. It really did affect me... It really hurt my soul. It changed how I am, I think, in the public a little bit.”

7. North West is the best behaved baby, like, ever. “She never cries. She is a perfect little angel.”

8. Kim admitted that losing 50lbs after she gave birth was seriously tough, “[It was] the hardest challenge of my life,” she states.

9. While we won’t see much of Kanye on Keeping Up With The Kardashaians (Kim’s currently filming the ninth series), she will talk about him on the show, “Sometimes if he's comfortable he'll be on. I'll definitely talk about my life and my dating life with him, because that's my reality, but you can't have someone on if they don't want to be on all the time.”

10. Kim’s keeping one thing private. She won’t reveal what Kanye said when he got down on one knee and popped the question. “The scoreboard said 'Please marry me', but he said a few words to me. But it's private. I said yes!”

Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett Confirms Second Pregnancy on Today, Talks Morning Sickness

It's now truly official.
Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett herself has confirmed what earlier this month—the Kendra on Top star is expecting her second child with husband Hank Baskett III.
While chatting with Katie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on Thursday's Today, Kendra playfully made reference to her show as she made the announcement.
"Kendra on Top, naughty, naughty, that's what got me pregnant with baby No. 2," she said with a smile.

Kendra and Hank are already parents to 3-year-old son Hank IV.

When asked if her pregnancy is something that viewers will get to see on her WE reality series, Kendra said, "We planned this to be right after the season, so I'll have time to puke. You know, be in a cave."

The soon-to-be mother-of-two also revealed she is still in her first trimester.
"I'm really at a great stage," the 28-year-old said before adding with a laugh, "Not physically. I'm in the bathroom every 10 minutes."
And her husband couldn't be more excited about expanding their brood.

"He thanks me every day. He says, 'Thank you for having my children,'" Kendra shared. "He takes such good care of me. I couldn't have found a better man."
