Angelina Jolie's Plane Grounded by FAA for Not Having License

The actress reportedly did not send the flying agency a renewal application for the private plane's license in time.

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie has reportedly been banned from flying her private plane after failing to renew its registration in time. The certificate to the 38-year-old movie star's red-and-white Cirrus SR-22 has expired on June 30.

According to NY Times' Page Six, FAA documents noted that a renewal application was sent to the agency but it arrived too late. FAA sent a letter to Jolie's Chivan Productions at the beginning of September that they could not process the renewal because application did not arrive in time.

However, the plane took the mile anyway in October in Montana. Flight records showed that it was flown without a valid certificate, although who was in the pilot seat was not indicated.

Jolie got her flying license eight years ago after being inspired by her oldest son Maddox. "Every time Mad sees a plane, he's amazed," she said at the time. "If I could actually fly a plane... I'll be like Superman to him." Jolie has previously been seen flying partner Brad Pitt and their six kids in the jet.

Her $360,000 plane is the fastest single-engine aircraft in the world. It can reach 300 miles per hour and deploy a parachute to land the entire plane safely.

Justin Bieber continues charm offensive, calls girl a ‘beached whale’

Someone needs to send Justin Bieber a clue for Christmas, or at least a copy of ‘How to Make Friends and Influence People’, because his decent into becoming an absolute moron is still going strong – his latest indiscretion? Calling a girl staying at his hotel a ‘beached whale’.
Classy.
The 19-year-old singer - whose most recent faux pas include peeing into a cleaners bucket, calling a customs official at an airport a ‘female vagina’ (we are still dumbfounded by this) and pretending to meet the President of Mexico just for the lols and then having to retract it - was reportedly hanging out by the pool at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Perth, Australia when he encountered the girl.
"There were four young girls in bikinis,” Helen Robinett, a fellow guest at the hotel, told News.au.com. “One girl who was gorgeous looking, with long dark hair and would have been about a size 14. Justin looked over at her and said 'What are you, Hawaiian or something?' She said 'No, I'm not'. Then he said 'You look like a beached whale'.”
If that wasn’t enough, the singer then turned the knife by apparently adding, 'You should go on The Biggest Loser.'
“The whole pool deck heard him call this beautiful young girl a beached whale,” said Robinett. “Everyone heard. And there was silence. It was almost like his security were used to it."

Victoria Beckham announces she's done with the Spice Girls for good

Victoria Beckham has crushed our dreams of a Spice Girls re-reunion, telling Paris Vogue that her time as Posh Spice is ‘finished for good’. Sniff.

The fashion designer and former pointer extraordinaire told the magazine she no longer cares to pretend to sing for the pleasure of millions of nostalgic fans and that she wished during their performance at Madison Square Gardens that she was ‘elsewhere’. If we were married to David Beckham we’d want to be ‘elsewhere’ most of the time too…

"I realised it was finished for good in 2008, when we reformed for our reunion tour [at Madison Square Gardens]," she said. "It should have been the best moment of my life, but I just wanted to be elsewhere."
"It wasn't a lack of respect for the girls or the audience, but the passion just wasn't there. By contrast, in my new career, the passion grows every year. I still want more," Victoria added.

Victoria is full of revelations in the interview, confiding that her trademark could-I-be-any-less-impressed camera face is actually an old trick from her days as Posh Spice.

"I looked moody. But I wasn't! I was shy, not very sure of myself," she told them. "I had to invent a character and I thought of that: staring at people and pouting. My insecurities helped me create the character in a way. Nowadays, it's like a barrier that comes back whenever I go out in public. That's the way fame has affected me.”

But despite her fame and success, she’s keen to remind us (again) that she’s just like us. She even buys groceries herself! She goes to Waitrose and everything!

"It's always me who goes to Waitrose to do the weekly shop, Harper balancing on one hip, Brooklyn hanging onto the trolley. I go down the aisles telling the kids, 'No, you can't have that!', just like any other mother. People look at me in awe like I'm from the circus, but it doesn't bother me."

Britney Spears suspects her boyfriend cheated on her in a music video for her latest single "Perfume". She gets suspicious when she sees a text on his cell phone from a woman named Cindy and then sees with her own eyes how the two meet and get cozy behind her back.

"Do I imagine it, or do I see your stare? Is there still longing there?" the Southern Belle sings in despair. "I want to believe it's just you and me. Sometimes it feels like there's three of us in here, baby."

The music video is directed by Joseph Khan who directed Britney in clips for "Stronger", "Toxic" and "Womanizer". She said of their latest collaboration, "We've had a lot of success together & there is nobody I trust more with this super personal song."

"Wish they'd release the director's cut of #perfume. Britney's performance is unbelievable. A true artist in it. Game changer. Official cut is a good video as you'll soon see," Khan tweeted shortly before the video premiere. "But it's a true loss not to see what she really did. It's incredible."

"Beyond other artists. But to be VERY honest. Some people would prefer the official version. It's prettier. Simpler. I like it. But I love the [my] [director's cut] so much more. Maybe if your voice is loud enough they'll release it. But other than that, I just needed to tell the truth. Something amazing is waiting"

A petition to get the director's cut released was quickly launched online and signed by a number of Britney's fans following Khan's plea. The song is featured in Britney's eighth studio album titled after her birth name "Britney Jean".

Demi Lovato Says She 'Couldn't Go an Hour Without Cocaine'

Demi Lovato said last month that her past struggle with addiction would shock fans and now the singer shared the extent of the issue in an interview with Access Hollywood. Speaking from the set of "The X Factor (US)" on Monday, December 9, Demi said, "I'm very, very good at manipulating people and that was something that I did in my disease, I would manipulate everyone around me. There were times I would just continue to lie, so that everything looked OK on the outside."

"Something I've never talked about before, but with my drug use I could hide it to where I would sneak drugs. I couldn't go without 30 minutes to an hour without cocaine and I would bring it on airplanes," she continued. "I would smuggle it basically and just wait until everyone in first class would go to sleep and I would do it right there. I'd sneak to the bathroom and I'd do it. That's how difficult it got and that was even with somebody [with me], I had a sober companion, somebody who was watching me 24/7 and living with me [and] I was able to hide it from them as well."

The singer, who had entered rehab for her problems, hit rock bottom when she was 19. "I was going to the airport and I had a Sprite bottle just filled with vodka and it was just nine in the morning and I was throwing up in the car and this was just to get on a plane to go back to LA to the sober living house that I was staying at... I had all the help in the world, but I didn't want it," she recalled.

"I think at 19 years old, I had a moment where I was like, 'Oh my God... that is alcoholic behavior. [It's] no longer, I'm young and rebellious and out having fun, it was, wow, I'm one of those people... I gotta get my s*** together," the 21-year-old star added.

The "Neon Lights" singer left the rehab center in 2011 and she has been living sober lifestyle since then. Demi recently released a self-help book "Staying Stong: 365 Days a Year" which hopefully inspires readers who are facing hard times. She is also working on a tell-all book which will be released later.

Miley Cyrus has certainly made a buzz this year. The "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker's name popped up twice on Monday, December 9 as MTV's Artist of the Year and TIME's Top 10 finalist of Person of the Year.

Cyrus' explicit stage act with Robin Thicke at MTV Video Music Awards in August was one of the year's most talked about cultural events, MTV said. The VMA duet on "We Can't Stop" and "Blurred Lines" was the most watched video on MTV websites while an artist site devoted to Cyrus had more visits than any other artist's.

Meanwhile, TIME revealed the 2013 finalists which were selected through a poll on "Today" show. "Power is not just political. It can be cultural. It can be spiritual. She came in like a wrecking ball ...the most watched video of the year and at a time when we are living with an explosion of exhibitionism, since we all now carry cameras with us at all times, she is a symbol," the magazine's managing editor Nancy Gibbs said about Cyrus' inclusion.

Back on November 27, Cyrus led the votes with 28 percent, ahead of NSA defense contractor Edward Snowden and Chief Minister of the state of Gujarat Narendra Modi. The winner will eventually be selected by TIME's editor and revealed on Wednesday, December 11.

Cyrus has also been announced as one of Barbara Walter's Most Fascinating People this year, joining Snowden, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian among others.

Kate Winslet is proud mother of a new baby boy. The "Titanic" star gave birth to her third child on Saturday, December 7 at an NHS hospital in Sussex County, U.K. The baby weighed 9 lb. A representative of Winslet told People, "Mother and baby are doing great." The rep added to Mail Online that the actress and her husband Ned Rocknroll are "thrilled to bits".

This is Winslet's first child with Rocknroll. She is already a mother to 13-year-old Mia and 10-year-old Joe from previous relationships. She had expressed a desire to expand her family in 2006, telling InStyle, "I'm hoping to have more kids. I don't know whether one or two. Oh, God, I would love to have more."

Winslet and Rocknroll met while she was vacationing at his uncle Richard Branson's privately-owned Necker Island. They secretly wed last December and announced the pregnancy in June.

Back in October, she told Us Weekly of her craving, "At the moment I seem to be wanting orange juice a lot. I don't know quite why that is, but it's not so weird. I wish I could tell you I had some weird craving. I wish I could be like that woman on the advert who loves tuna fish and banana, but I'm not like that at all."

Tila Tequila made the headlines again after going under the radar for months. She posted a photo of herself on Facebook wearing a Nazi uniform hat and a swastika arm band while standing in front of Aushcwitz.

She went pro-Hitler in a blog rant, calling it "Why I Sympathize With Adolf Hitler Part 1: True History Revealed." She wrote, "Here is a man who was not a coward, stood up for his country in a DESPERATE TIME OF NEED (unlike all of our cowardly leaders), and yet not only did he try his best to help his country and people get out of what was a time of depression, economic collapse, high unemployment, amongst many other things ...he lost the war AND was painted out to be a monster after his death. This is what breaks my heart. Especially now that I know the truth."

When it comes to anti-Semitism, the former MTV star commented, "I am not going to sit here and say that I hate Jewish people because that is not the case nor is this about Jews. It is about Hitler and his side of the story that was never told since he was not the victor. However, those of you with a closed mind can think I am being anti-semite all you want because I already told you that I am not, nor will I repeat myself again."

Tequila also made comments on Paul Walker's recent death, calling it a "ritualistic murder" and comparing it to the death of Elisa Lam, a young woman who was found dead in Los Angeles in February this year.

Family and close friends are going to hold Paul Walker's funeral this weekend, E! News reports. "All of the funeral details are still being worked out," a source said. On Tuesday, December 10, the Los Angeles County coroner's office released the actor's body to his family. Assistant chief of coroner's investigations Ed Winter told Los Angeles Times that the body was turned over to Forest Lawn Mortuaries where many stars were buried.

A separate report from TMZ suggests that the "Fast and Furious" actor's funeral will be small and private. Sources told the site that the funeral would be by invitation only and the crew of the car-racing movie franchise would be invited. The sources additionally said that the family would hold larger memorial sometime following the funeral, but it would also be for invited people only.

Walker and his friend Roger Rodas passed away in a fiery car accident on November 30. The actor's teenage daughter Meadow, who recently moved in to stay with the star, is doing her best to cope with the sudden passing. "She is doing OK and as well as can be expected. She is a little lost right now and is spending a lot of time with her close friends," an insider said.

Two weeks prior to his death, Walker talked about Meadow to Us Magazine. In the interview which is featured on its latest issue, Walker said, "I'm glad I had her at 25, because at 40 and 15, we're matching up sweet. It's just working. It's perfect."
