Taylor Swift has revealed more details about her fifth album, which is currently in the works. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, she said that the highly-anticipated project would feature songs about her own stories.

"Describing it is difficult. At the core of what I do, it's always going to revolve around a confessional storyline and filling my fans in on what my life has actually been," the 24-year-old pop/country superstar told the site.

"It's become this lifeline between me and my friends and they know that no matter what they read in some magazine, they're going to hear the actual accounting of it when the album comes out," she continued. "I've always written songs for the same reason - to sort through my emotions. As I grow up, the lessons I learn in love and relationships and how we treat each other are hopefully maturing - hopefully."

In another interview, the "22" hitmaker who has worked with the likes of Fun.'s Jack Antonoff and Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody in the past told Billboard earlier this month that she's open to collaborating with other musicians for her upcoming album. "I'm really loving collaboration right now," said Swift.

"I see it as a bit of an apprenticeship. I want to be around people who love writing songs and have done it for years. Every time I'm in a studio I'm learning, like how to build a drum track, and getting a new perspective on things. It's so thrilling to keep learning on your fifth album," she added.

Swift's next record will serve as the follow-up to 2012's "Red". The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 and stayed atop the chart for several weeks. It's currently up for Best Country Album award and the coveted Album of the Year award at the upcoming Grammys.

Tom Cruise is no longer involved in "The Magnificent Seven", a remake of John Sturges' classic western movie. The "Oblivion" star was first attached to the project in 2012 and was supposed to play one of the cowboys. He has just completed "Edge of Tomorrow" and is now preparing for "Mission: Impossible V" and "Go Like Hell".

Despite Cruise's departure, "Magnificent Seven" is still on track. "Saving Mr. Banks" director John Lee Hancock has been tapped to rewrite the script originally drafted by Nic Pizzolatto who wrote HBO's upcoming miniseries "True Detective" starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.

Based on Akira Kurosawa's 1954 classic "Seven Samurai", "The Magnificent Seven" follows a gang of American gunmen hired to protect a small Mexican town from a group of bandits led by Calvera. The original released in 1960 starred Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn, Robert Vaughn, Brad Dexter and Horst Buchholz.

The film spawned three sequels and was turned into a TV adaptation for CBS series in 1998-2000.

While preparing for her Las Vegas residency may be physically demanding for Britney Spears, it seems that interview is the least favorite thing to do for the "Perfume" songstress. Some Chicago journalists have shared their experiences interviewing the former Disney star and they branded her the worst interviewee of this year for showing no interest at all during the sitdown.

Jamar 'J Niice' McNeil of Chicago's B96 "The J Show" told Tribune entertainment writer Luis Gomez who conducted the survey, "Least favorite interview this year was Britney Spears. She was not at all interested in her own new album, her new single or her Vegas residency show."

"She wasn't interested in the interview," he added. "Why'd her label make her do this? Waste. I would've rather spent that time with a corpse. No, like really. A corpse 'off gasses,' might twitch, decomposes, bloats - pretty interesting stuff. Britney Spears? Two words: Nothing there."

McNeil's colleague Michelle 'Showbiz Shelly' Menaker echoed him, saying, "The worst interview of the year had to be Britney Spears. While she has catchy songs and cool music videos, it was almost a struggle for her to form a sentence. She might have been nervous, but it was tough for her to elaborate on things as simple as her new Vegas Show."

Another reporter, Christopher 'Brotha Fred' Frederick of 103.5 Kiss FM's "Fred + Angi in the Morning" show, also said a similar thing about Spears. "While I wouldn't say it was my least favorite, as we are always happy to talk to Britney Spears, she just seemed disconnected," he claimed. "It was difficult to get more than a 'yes' or 'no' from her. But she did tell us she 'never' lip syncs, and that surprised more than just us as it made national news."

Spears is currently gearing up for her two-year residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino which will start on December 27. In an E! documentary "I Am Britney Jean", she admitted that she might not be suitable for the job. "I have always been kind of shy, since I was a little girl. It's who I am to be modest, so I really can't help it. I turn into this different person ... seriously, bipolar disorder. I'm not really made for this industry," she explained.
