Selena Gomez: ‘I turned to Katy Perry after Justin Bieber split’

Selena posted this 'sassy selfie' following Justin's arrest

SEO-friendly news now, and celebrity ‘Selena Gomez’ found solace in fellow celebrity ‘Katy Perry’ following her break-up with celebrity man ‘Justin Bieber’. That’s the hat-trick, people! Pack it away, we’re done for the day!
No, seriously now. As Selena told this month’s Seventeen magazine, she’s yet to find someone who can deal with a strong woman with a hi-tempo career like hers, which sort of includes Justin Bieber, seeing as he’s too busy weeing in buckets and throwing eggs at things and driving yellow rented cars quickly down a residential road to really deal with having a girlfriend right now.
This is Selena and Justin together, in case you were wondering

“I actually talked to Katy Perry about guys who are intimidated by strong girls,” she told the mag. “I haven’t found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it and not be threatened by it.” THAT MEANS YOU, WEE JUSTIN BIEBER.
“It’s hard,” she added. “I do think I might scare some guys, because I’m like, ‘I want to change the world! I have dreams! What do you want to do?’ But I only know how to be me.” Probably a bit less about Bieber now, but still.

She also admitted that she feels strongest when she is considered the underdog – and thinks that 2014 could well be her year, despite cancelling a string of Australian tour dates to embark on some ‘me time’.
“This year is when I really started feeling powerful,” she said. “I had always been the underdog secretly. I was on Disney when it was Miley [Cyrus], the Jonas Brothers and Demi [Lovato]. I questioned the way I looked, acted, sang and wrote.
“Then I turned 20, went through a really bad break-up and realised I needed to have Come & Get It be amazing. I wanted it all to be me. I’m glad it’s taken me this long to get where I am because now I am ready for it.”

Kylie Minogue has announced that her new album will be titled "Kiss Me Once". The Australia-born singer has also unveiled the artwork for her 12th studio effort. The sexy cover art features Minogue pressing her red lips against a rain-soaked window.

"Kiss Me Once", which serves as the follow-up to 2010's "Aphrodite", will be released worldwide in late March. This will be the 45-year-old diva's first album to be released under Jay-Z's Roc Nation.

Set to include production from the likes of Pharrell Williams and Greg Kurstin, the record will be led by single "Into the Blue" which Minogue has described as "euphoric return to the dancefloor."

The song was written by Kelly Sheehan and will debut on January 27. " 'Into The Blue' is really special to me as it encapsulates a lot of what I've been feeling - I can't wait for it to be out there," the coach of "The Voice UK" said earlier this month.
