Ellie Goulding is happy being single but still “adores” her ex Greg James

Ellie Goudling frequently writes about her relationships in her songs, now she’s opened up about being single and also talked about some of her exes in a new interview.

The 26-year-old singer revels that she’s happy on her own, “My confidence has grown in the past year,

“I feel strong in more ways than one at the moment… I feel very independent and feminist right now – I think maybe it’s being single.”

The Burn singer admits that in the past she has been in an unhealthy relationship and she urges her fans not to make the same mistake,

“You should never change for anyone. And I say that because I’ve done it before; I’ve changed for a man… I was so, so in love with him that I’d have done anything. I look back now and think, ‘What an idiot!’

“You only realise when you’re out of it how someone can have a hold over you. He treated me horrendously and I just didn’t help myself.”

"I still adore Greg James"

It’s safe to assume that the bad man in question is not DJ and presenter Greg James.

Ellie admits to Cosmopolitan magazine that she still has a soft spot for her ex even though their relationship came on an abrupt end.

“You might be with someone you think you know everything about, then it takes just one thing to throw it all into the wind.

“I wrote Anything Can Happen because I’d been in a relationship with Greg for two years, who I absolutely adored and still do. Then that ended very unexpectedly and it threw me off.

“Greg is ridiculously funny – we were always laughing all the time. I’ve never met anyone with quite the same sense of humour as him… But it’s nice going home to bed on my own before midnight and watching Geordie Shore!”

We quite like the idea of watching Geordie Shore in bed with Greg James, but we’re happy to hear that Ellie is happy.

The full interview appears in the January 2014 issue of Cosmopolitan, on sale 6th December. Also available in digital edition on Apple Newsstand.

Lilo's toilet date with Liam Neeson's son

You just never know where you're going to find love, do you? And the quest for romance saw Lindsay Lohan hit up the toilets at New York club Finale with Liam Neeson's 18 year-old son this weekend, because that's where all the best love stories begin.

Lilo had previous been linked with 19 year-old model Liam Deen, but Lils (27, since you ask) turned her attention on to Liam Neeson's boy at a party on Friday night, when the pair are said to have snuck off to the ladies loo at one point - probably to check if there were sufficient amounts of Chupa-Chups lollies and Impulse spray available for post-toilet party-goers.

A source said: “Lindsay seems to have this thing for younger men at the moment. They were together at a house party of one of Lindsay’s stylist friends before Thanksgiving, and were together at Finale on Friday.
"Lindsay was seen leading him into the women’s bathroom, hand-in-hand.," the source added. "The odd thing was that Dean was with them all night, even though Lindsay had been seeing him, too.”

While Linds' people say: “Lindsay is friends with Michael but they are not dating” we reckon there could be more illicit lavatory activity soon. Don't you know it's the place to be seen right now?

Leona Lewis tries to trick us into thinking she’s a wild child. Bless.

Watch out! She's crazy!

Poor Leona Lewis. All she wants to do is sing some nice songs and wear some nice frocks. But singing songs and wearing frocks won’t sell records – as sales of her last album will attest. So now Leona’s trying a different angle and trying to convince us that she’s actually a total, like, hell raiser. Unsurprisingly, it isn’t going that well.
Mere months ago Leona’s free time was mostly spent google imaging ‘pretty horses’, but these days she just loves smashing things up. Honest. “I smashed up [my] hotel room [because] I was angry”, she says. “I gave a table a kick and I didn’t actually think it would fall over. I [normally] do it so that it won’t damage things but things got smashed. Champagne glasses broke. I had bad rage.”
Is she... listening to a pair... of... ear muffs?

And when she’s not committing petty acts of vandalism, new Leona loves binge drinking. Talking about how she spends time with friends, she says, “We do fun stuff and go out to bars”. Bars, Leona? Edgy. “They are the kind of friends I can get roaring drunk around and let loose”, she continues, “They have seen my worst side 150 times! They have been there through the ups and downs, the hair holding when I’m so drunk I’m sick.”
Lovely. Leona’s also spoken about her new video for actual properly good Christmas song One More Sleep, in which she got some of her ker-azy mates down to film. “They were on their best behaviour and still they were a bit mental”, she says. “They were chucking s*** around the kitchen. My friend has dreads and we were putting flour in his hair as he can’t wash it – he wanted to kill us!”
Seriously! She is!

OK Leona, we promise we believe you. Just stop talking about vomit now, yeah?

Jay-Z saw the signs that he has to go vegan for 22 days to celebrate his 44th birthday. The rapper announced on his Life and Times blog that he and his singer wife Beyonce Knowles have vowed to keep meat off the table until Christmas.

"On December 3rd, one day before my 44th birthday I will embark on a 22 Days challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant-based!!" Jay-Z wrote. He had been introduced to "plant-based breakfast" when presented with the challenge by a friend, and found it easier than he thought.

The numbers have something to do with his decision. "Psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you've found the way," he said, adding "There's something spiritual to me about it being my 44th birthday and the serendipity behind the number of days in this challenge; 22 (2+2=4) coupled with the fact that the challenge ends on Christmas day ...It just feels right!"

Jay-Z promised to keep his readers posted on his progress. "I don't know what happens after Christmas," he admitted. "A semi-vegan, a full plant-based diet? Or just a spiritual and physical challenge? We'll see..."
As a start, the parents of Blue Ivy were seen leaving vegan restaurant, Real Food Daily, on Tuesday, December 3.

Kim Fields, who played Dorothy "Tootie" Ramsey on "The Facts of Life", has welcomed her second child with husband Christopher Morgan. Fields gave birth to the baby on Tuesday, December 3 at 10:30 A.M. in Atlanta. The baby boy arrived weighing in at 8 lbs., 8 oz.

"We are so blessed and grateful to God for this newest gift to our family," Fields says in a statement. She and her husband named their second son Quincy Xavier. In addition to baby Quincy, Fields and Morgan are parents to 6-year-old Sebastian Alexander.

Fields and Morgan got married back in 2007. The former "Living Single" star announced in July that she would welcome another addition to the family after experiencing two miscarriages. "Sebastian and Christopher are very excited. We're very, very blessed," Fields gushed on "The Real".

"It was planned. We've actually been trying for a couple years. We had gotten pregnant twice and [miscarried]. Chris and I were very blessed to really have one another, to have our family and friends and our God to really get us through that. If I'm encouraging to anybody ... it's not like I'm the poster child for over 40 and pregnant," she added.

"Funny enough, for a minute I thought I was getting pre-menopausal 'cuz certain things were starting to be irregular and then other symptoms started - my memory and I was clumsier than normal which I couldn't even believe was possible. Then our son got sick with a stomach virus and I caught it. Chris said, 'No, babe, you're a little sicker than Sebastian. You need to go and get that checked out' and I said, 'Okay.' They tested me and said, 'Oh honey, you're not dehydrated. You're two months pregnant," she continued.

Katy Perry is committed to help children with her new position as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador. The "Unconditionally" singer was appointed as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador during an event which took place on Tuesday, December 3.

"Katy Perry is already a champion for children, and we look forward to hearing her 'roar' on behalf of UNICEF. We are delighted that she is joining us as UNICEF's newest Goodwill Ambassador and lending her remarkable voice to amplify the voices of children and young people around the world," UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake said.

"I believe young people have the power to change their own lives, with our help. I am honored to join UNICEF as a Goodwill Ambassador, and committed to doing everything I can to help children and adolescents who come from such different backgrounds but want the same thing: a brighter future," Perry said in a statement.

"Guys! I am SO honored to become a @UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador today! I am #unconditionallyUNICEF," the singer added in a Twitter post. She joins previous UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors that include David Beckham, Orlando Bloom, Jackie Chan and Mia Farrow among others.

After joining the organization, Perry will "work to engage young people in speaking out about the issues they believe are most important in their own lives and enlisting them more directly in coming up with solutions to those challenges." She especially will focus on children and adolescents who are in severe poverty, affected by violence, abuse, and neglect, and in emergency and conflict situations.

Earlier this year, Perry went to Madagascar to bring attention to children in the country. In October, she lent her hit song "Roar" to the soundtrack of a new PSA to inspire girls to shine. The 29-year-old singer also called for support for people affected by typhoon Haiyan which struck the Philippines in November.
