Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco caused many a raised eyebrow when she got engaged to Ryan Sweeting after just three months - but when we heard she'd married him during a television chat show, we just took it on the chin.
Such is the world of showbiz romance, eh?
Thankfully, however, the hastily staged wedding - which took place on The Ellen Show - was a little bit of a joke on Ellen DeGeneres' behalf. When she heard Kaley say she'd marry her fiancé tomorrow, she decided to take it literally.
The talkshow host (better known as Dori, the forgetful fish!) provided the actress with jewellery and a veil, and then announced she was about to have one of her writers “marry” the couple.
RIGHT THERE ON THE SHOW!
Cue a little bit of hysterical giggling from Kaley - especially when the doors rolled back to reveal Ryan standing underneath a floral arch.
The best part, however, was definitely Ryan’s reaction.
“This isn’t legal, right?” he asked, before nervously exchanging rings.
