Simon Cowell risks Cheryl Cole's wrath as X Factor musical appears to poke fun at the singer

The production wrongly describes her last album as a flop - something Chezza may not be happy about

Be careful Simon, Cheryl could be hunting you down!

Uh-oh, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole’s love/hate relationship may just have veered toward the latter emotion.
The 54-year-old mogul is likely to face Chezza’s wrath after a mocking reference in the new X Factor musical.
I’ve had a sneak preview of the Harry Hill-penned script, endorsed by Si, and Cheryl should look away now.
With a judge called Jordy, described as a “pop star from the north-east” and from a girl band called Loud Girl Noize, it doesn’t take a great leap of imagination to work out just who the character is based on.
And it gets worse for Cheryl.
In a song called Here Come The Judges, her £1million deal with Parisian cosmetics firm L’Oreal - tagline “because I’m worth it” - is mocked, as are her efforts as a solo artist.
It wrongly describes her last album as a flop and even suggests Cheryl Jordy is only on the play’s fictional reality show to revive her flagging career.

In real life Cheryl, 30, has had an up and down time of it lately.

She's definitely worth it..
Her most recent album A Million Lights, released in June 2012, reached a respectable No.2 in the charts, though her last single, Under The Sun, only got to No.13.
She and Simon also had a major falling out after the former Girls Aloud star was sacked as a judge from the US X Factor.
Earlier this year it emerged the singer was stepping up her fight to get up to £3.5million compensation.
However, after patching up their differences, dad-to-be Simon has
now lined up Cheryl to be a new judge on next year’s UK X Factor.
So could this mean a hasty re-write of the I Can’t Sing! musical?
If it’s any consolation to her, Chez isn’t the only ex-girlbander mocked in the no-holds-barred show, which hits the West End in March.
In the title song, Spice Girl Geri Halliwell is name-checked and her vocal
ability derided.
Simon’s spokesman could not be reached for comment on Thursday night.
