Justin Timberlake has teamed up again with designer Tom Ford, this time for the singer's "The 20/20 Experience" tour. For the tour, Ford has exclusively created 600 individual pieces that include eight custom-made outfits for Timberlake and original pieces for all the backup dancers, band members and vocalists.
"Justin has great personal style and knows what he wants which makes designing for him an absolute pleasure," the 52-year-old designer said. "He is a tremendous talent and has a kind of effortless cool that makes classic menswear tailoring modern." This is the first time Ford has designed an entire wardrobe for a world tour.
Timberlake's tour kicked off on Wednesday night, November 6. The "TKO" singer reportedly took the stage at New York's Barclays Center in classic pieces with a modern twist. He was joined by three female backup dancers who sported vests, jackets and ties.
Timberlake and Ford's collaboration came as no surprise. Ford designed the star's suit for his marriage to actress Jessica Biel last year. Ford has also dressed Timberlake for his "Suit & Tie" video, "The 20/20 Experience" album artwork and at this year's Grammy Awards.
