The former 'Baywatch' star reveals
the reasons why she chopped off her signature long hair, telling Ellen
DeGeneres that she wanted to 'start fresh' with new haircut.
Pamela Anderson talked about her new pixie haircut as she stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". In the Thursday, November 7 episode, the former "Baywatch" actress said that the haircut symbolized a new start.
"I stole your haircut!" Anderson jokingly told the show's host, Ellen DeGeneres. "I just thought, you know, my hair had had a life. And I wanted to kind of put that behind me and start fresh. And I thought it'd be good for the marathon. And it was," Anderson explained the reason for getting the haircut.
Besides the new hairdo topic, the former Playboy cover girl opened up about her first experience joining New York Marathon earlier this month. Anderson, who reached the finish line in 5 hours and 41 minutes, likened the muscle sore to giving birth.
"Yeah, I finished, it was hard. The last five miles were like giving birth. It was like giving birth and then being told to run as you're giving birth. It was so much pain. My hips! I don't know if women are meant to run, especially after giving birth," she said after showing off a medal she received from the race.
DeGeneres, who told Anderson in October that she would not be able to finish the marathon, admitted that she was wrong and apologized. "I really want to apologize to you. I don't mind admitting [I was wrong]," the talk show host said, giving a white t-shirt which features words, "Ellen Is Not Always Right."
