She's famously open about her sexuality, and now Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson has opened up about her thoughts on pornography.In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, the Avengers star explained that adult movies can be enjoyable in the right context.
"I think porn, like anything else, can be enjoyed. It can be productive for both men and women."
But when questioned on what she would think if her boyfriend, the French journalist Romain Dauriac, watched as much porn as the lead character in her new film Don Jon, she said she wouldn't be overly happy.
"If I found out my boyfriend watched that much porn I would be totally flabbergasted, for sure."
In Don Jon, she stars opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who also wrote and directed the film. He plays Jon, a man who spends much of his time practising his five-finger shuffle while trawling the internet for the filthiest muck he can find.
But when he meets Scarlett's Barbara, he realises she requires conversation and intimacy - so will he be able to give up the porn?
Earlier this year, Joseph G-L explained to Men's Health why he cast Scarlett in his movie.
"Look, Scarlett is a gorgeous, gorgeous woman, but if you just compare purely physical features, plenty of girls are just as gorgeous.
"But she creates this extra something. It's in her walk, her eye contact. The total package is just off the charts."
