Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison will live together after split, he’ll manage her career – bit weird, no?

Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison’s break up seems to be entirely amicable, for now at least.
The age gap couple – who’ve called time on their two and half year marriage – will continue to live together as Doug will be managing Courtney’s celebrity profile.

We’re not quite sure what that means, but it sounds like a recipe for disaster to us.

In an official statement given to the Daily Mail, the couple confirm their split and reveal their new working arrangement,

“Courtney was married at a young age. Now, at nineteen, she’s interested in exploring life as an unmarried single young adult - with the freedom to explore her independence. Doug supports Courtney 100 per cent.
“The two will share custody of their precious pup, Dourtney, remain living in the same house [for now] in separate bedrooms, and Doug will be co-managing Courtney’s career.”

Despite the 35 year age gap, Doug and Courtney will remain best pals, which is nice.

“We love each other very much, want for each other’s happiness, and will continue being the best of friends for life,” the statement adds.
