Rihanna has been granted a permanent restraining order against alleged stalker Jonathan Whooper – who, it was argued, has caused her “substantial emotional distress”.
The court, who granted the order ealier, also stated that Jonathan gave the singer posed a “concern for her personal safety.”
In October, Jonathan was arrested for multiple trespasses after being arrested outside the Diamonds star's Los Angeles home. He was also identified as the same person who broke into the home a week before, where threw a chair through a glass door.
At the time, Rihanna was granted a temporary order to stop Jonathan approaching the 25-year-old and her property.
Now, Jonathan is banned from going near Ri-Ri and for the next two years, must stay at least 100 yards from the singer.
According to TMZ, the last time Jonathan approached the singer, he claimed he was “an acquaintance” of Rihanna’s and even insisted he was her future husband.
He is due to appear in court in the coming months to see if he is mentally fit to stand trial for attempted burglary, vandalism and stalking.
