Lady Gaga and June Brown, AKA Dot Cotton are new BFFS…

Here at heat, we love bringing you tales of unlikely celebrity friendships. Mainly because they’re hilarious but sometimes, they just end up just being completely and utterly weird.
So, ta-daaa – we are now bringing you, June Brown – who plays the chain smoking, pinny wearing Dot Cotton in Eastenders – and Lady Gaga – the international superstar who likes to wear raw meat.
To give this rather odd story some context – the pair met on the set of the Graham Norton Show earlier this week and according to sources on the show, they completely hit it off.
June, who was on the show to promote her new autobiography and was reportedly regailing a HILARIOUS tale of how she becomes rather hard to understand after a few too many sherbets.

Well, they do share a love of spectacular hats...

 

Cue Lady Gaga suddenly feeling a powerful emotional connection, as she quickly joined in the conversation and said to the actress: “I understand you, we talk the same language”, before declaring, “I wish I could take you home.”
We think she should have. We think the bright lights of Hollywood would suit June more than the Queen Vic.
Talking to the Metro after the bizarre friendship blossomed, an eyewitness verified the events, even stating that the Poker Face singer was “in awe” of June.
“Gaga was in awe of her and June liked her loads. But it was funny when Gaga’s headwear got in the way of June’s face – they may edit that out. June seemed very drunk… Gaga even took a few sips from her glass of wine. She kind of wanted June to rub off onto her.”
