Kanye West designed Kim Kardashian's engagement ring to encorporate North West's name!

Excuse us while we just bury our face in a cushion because it's been revealed that Kanye West is actually a giant cuddly teddy bear deep down, who just happens to be dressed in pleather coats and weird sunglasses and a general air of arrogance.
The rapper made sure he and Kim Kardashian's baby daughter wasn't left out of their recent engagement celebrations by ensuring the ring included her name in some way.
Jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz explained that Kanye was very exacting in how he wanted the ring to look.
"He was really on top of every aspect of the design, wanting a certain northwest design on the ring, a compass style," she said.

Ring designer Lorraine was even invited to the big proposal!

 

"I showed him a lot of stones. He picked a perfect diamond, a D flawless. He was perfect." She added that the ring wouldn't necessarily show its quirky secret design to the casual onlooker, and that only the couple know how to find it.
Luckily, Kim loves her piece of bling - she told Jay Leno on his chat show this Wednesday: "He's so creative and so passionate about everything in life. He went to four jewellers to find the right design."
