Robert Davi, who played Jake Fratelli in 1985's movie "The Goonies", is separating from his wife Christine Bolster. According to a TMZ report, Bolster has submitted documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court to legally end their marriage.

The documents cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason of their separation. According to the documents, Bolster wants legal and physical custody of their minor children, Isabella and Nicholas. Davi is allowed to make visitations.

The documents also mentioned that the former model requested the actor, who also took part in "Showgirls" among others, to pay for her attorney fees. In addition, Bolster asked for spousal support.

When contacted, a representative for the actor explained that Davi and the former model had split amicably a few years ago. The couple got married in 1990.

Davi played alongside Sean Astin, Corey Feldman and Josh Brolin in "The Goonies". In addition to the 1985 movie, he is also known for his role as drug lord Franz Sanchez in Bond movie "License to Kill" with Timothy Dalton as James Bond. He played FBI Special Agent Johnson in "Die Hard", starring Bruce Willis.
