Just as the world had finally stopped choking on its own cup of tea after seeing those pictures of Jennifer Aniston's new choppy bob, along comes another image to make us revert to mouth-breathing ninny status in pure shock.
For Jen-An has only gone and got herself a brand new ear piercing along with good friend Gucci Westman.
Celebrity makeup artist Gucci posted a snap of the pair on her Instagram last week, captioning it: "Me and #jenniferaniston got our ears pierced today!!!#memories @mrchrismcmillan #loveyou."
Both friends had tiny little diamond studs in their upper ears, suggesting they both went for a matching cartilage piercing.
It does make you wonder what's going on with Jennifer at the moment, particularly as she told Vogue that she opted for the hair chop because she was bored.
"I did it! I feel great. I feel lighter. It's simple, it’s really simple, that's for sure," she said. "But I'm always one of those girls who does a big old chop just to get it really healthy, to repair all the damage from hair colouring and stuff like that. And I just got bored, honestly. It's fun to change it up once in a while."
If we were being super cynical – which, obviously, we're not because we're all sweetness and light – we might suggest the moves were designed to stop people asking other, more pertinent questions. Is it time to play that 'Is Jennifer Aniston pregnant?' game again? Yeah, it is.
