The former Disney star dedicates the song, which is produced by fiance Christopher French, to her late grandfather.
Ashley Tisdale has come back with a new single called "You're Always Here". Released on iTunes on Monday morning, December 16, the track is a mid-tempo pop song that features the starlet singing about trying to continue her life after losing her dearest one.
"They say that love won't die/ And then I realize/ What will be will be/ You're always here with me," she croons. "And in the darkest night/ I feel you by my side/ What will be will be/ You're always here with me."
Written by Tisdale herself and produced by her fiance Christopher French, "You're Always Here" is a tribute to the songstress' late grandfather. "#yourealwayshere #specialproject..... Dedicated to my Pop Pop Arnold," she tweeted over the weekend.
Tisdale also uses the song for a good cause. A portion of proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" actress has been working on the follow-up to her 2009 album, "Guilty Pleasure". The new LP is reportedly arriving early next year.
