RadarOnline reports Will has been filming his new movie Focus in New Orleans since mid-September and is set to say there over November, while Jada took a trip to Paris with their daughter Willow and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Brown earlier this month.
Upon returning from Europe it is believed the actress moved in with her brother Caleeb, who lives in Calabasas.
Will's mother Carolyn Smith was contacted by the gossip site to comment on the couple's situation, to which she replied: "Isn't that personal?... Thank you for your concern."
Only last week Jada apparently hinted at problems in her marriage.
While at the Associated Black Charities of Baltimore Girls' Night Out Event she is believed to have told the crowd: "When you are going through a storm with your spouse... stop thinking about what you 'believe' a husband or wife should be."
Crowd member Vera Holman says it didn't stop there. Jada continued to talk about feeling under the weather.
"I thought success would make me happy... It does NOT," she reportedly stated.
Before these comments the 42-year-old star opened up about her and Will's controversial relationship. She previously insisted they can do as they please because they have such a close bond.
"Will and I can both do whatever we want because we trust each other to do so," she explained. "This does not mean we have an open relationship. It means we have a grown one."
Jada strongly denied their lack of time together meant their marriage was suffering earlier this year. Speaking to Gala magazine she defended the distance between her and Will, who also have son Jayden together.
"These rumours are completely untrue.
I travel a lot because of my work, just like Will does," she stated.
"But our lifestyle hasn't changed. Before we had the kids, we were already far away from each other quite often because of separate projects."
