Miley Cyrus defies all logic by being named on Time’s Best and Worst Dressed lists

Miley Cyrus has compounded all forms of logic by being name on both Time Magazine’s Best and Worst Dressed lists for 2013. If only we could channel Miley’s powers for good, instead of evil. If only we could place her and that weird polarizing Tupac leotard in a room full of fashionistas, and the ensuing combination of rage and bewilderment could provide the planet with a clean form of energy for years to come. Instead we let her make music.

Anyway, yesterday Time released its annual and wide-ranging ‘Top 10 of everything’ feature, including 54 lists of stuff ­– two of which 2013’s most talked-about pop star managed to top.


The magazine attributed that nude-coloured VMA two-piece that made her look like an uncooked turkey for her topping the Worst Dressed, while the green Marc Jacobs gown she wore to the Fashion Group International Night of the Stars gala a month later landed her a place on the Best Dressed.

A pregnant Kim Kardashian also made a run at the Worst Dressed list for her Marc Jacobs pot pourri-style Met Gala frock, while Jennifer Lawrence’s Dior Oscars gown saw her among the Best Dressed.
Sadly Rough Copy’s pleatherette skirts didn’t make it onto either list :((((((((((((((((((
