It's been pretty widely reported that Lady Gaga and boyfriend Taylor Kinney are (as Ross and Rachel were before them) "on a break". However that doesn't mean that the Chicago Fire star has stopped showing support for Mother Monster.
Yup, despite sources claiming that Taylor dumped Gaga after becoming fed up with her busy schedule and numerous alter-egos, the actor was spotted hanging out at the YouTube Music Awards on Sunday, where the Dope songstress put in a seriously emotional performance.
In fact, he was even dressed in a plaid shirt to match his girlfriend's on-stage look. Nothing quite says "we're trying to make things work" like coordinating clothing, does it?
It flies in the face of recent press reports, which stated that the pair were calling time on their relationship.
"GaGa’s hoping to meet up with Taylor when their schedules allow to talk things through. Taylor told her they need some time apart and it’s looking as if this might lead to a permanent split,” a source claimed in The Sun.
“Taylor has told her she’s married to her career and that he can’t deal with dating GaGa the mega-stat and all of her obsessions and alter egos.
"He loves the cool down-to-earth girl but hardly gets to see her. Gaga never stops working - she writes songs in the shower and dreams up new outfits in her sleep."
Fingers crossed that Taylor Kinney supporting Lady Gaga at the YouTube Music Awards this weekend means that the couple have managed to work through their differences.
