Kanye West Hires Q-Tip and Rick Rubin for 'Yeezus' Follow-Up

The new album, which the 'Black Skinhead' rapper says is currently in the works, is expected to be released in summer next year.

It has only been several months since Kanye West dropped his "Yeezus". However, the rapper is already working on a new record to follow up his sixth album which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 earlier this year.

West has recruited A Tribe Called Quest's Q-Tip and Def Jam founder Rick Rubin for his upcoming studio effort. "I'm producing Kanye's new album with Rick Rubin, I'm doing that, so that's coming up," Q-Tip revealed in a new interview with Life+Times.

It won't be West's first time to work with both Q-Tip and Rubin. Q-Tip contributed to West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" while Rubin, who has been linked to everyone from Jay-Z and Eminem to Adele and Lana Del Rey, had a big role producing "Yeezus".

When visiting Philadelphia's Power 99 late last month, West talked about his plan to put out a new LP by summer next year. "I haven't named my next album but I have started on it," he said at that time. "I write down philosophies all the time. I have some thoughts and I just constantly... everytime I think of it I write it. I'm working on it."

Miley Cyrus’ little sister Noah Cyrus isn’t very pleased with the paparazzi today! Noah just took to Twitter to send a message to the photographers:

Justin Bieber Makes Fans Wait 40 Minutes In Australia

 

Uh oh. Justin Bieber’s fans aren’t super pleased with him. Justin had a concert at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia recently, and he made his fans wait 40 minutes before he took the stage. Justin hit the stage just before 10pm, and some of his fans’ parents weren’t pleased!

Justin did not apologize for starting his concert late.

Has a word pair ever made you want to immediately vomit? Like, to actually vomit, down yourself and down your clothes? A word pair like: ‘bum problems’. Like ‘choccie biccie’? Like ‘mortally impaled’? 
Prepare to add the following to that list: “Chill hang.”

Because apparently that – a ‘chill hang’ – is exactly what Ed Sheeran, Courteney Cox and Sacha Baron Cohen all enjoyed last week at Jennifer Aniston’s totally laid back guys it’s just like welcome to the chill zone pull up a beanbag and hang Thanksgiving party.

We know this because Ed Sheeran has been talking about the aforementioned chill hang in detail, explaining exactly how chill it was and namedropping all the totally chill dudes and dudettes who were in attendance.



Speaking at the Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug premiere, he said: “I ate a lot of food, drank a lot of wine and played a lot of songs.

“Courteney set up like a PA system and I did a show there. It was very random. One of my all time favourite actors and comedians Sacha Baron Cohen was there, and we ended up jamming and he did like a rap in Arabic and stuff.” ‘Ended up jamming’! ‘He did like a rap in Arabic and stuff’!
“It was very funny,” he added.

Anyway turns out Ed wasn’t even invited to this thing, he just turned up in a pair of shorts and an unshaven face with his acoustic ‘axe’ in tow.



“I finished in the studio and I called up my friend,” he told E! News. “He was like, ‘I’m at Jen’s house and we’re just having a chill hang, so I was like, ‘OK’.

“Then I turned up… and they’re having a proper Thanksgiving meal and I’m there and I think I was wearing my boardshorts or something. It was fun.” Guys, does anyone mind if I light this one up and take a cheeky toke? It’s just all of your auras are telling me, like, ‘It’s cool’.

The project aims to highlight the journey of 'a successful entrepreneur and creative professional through modern technology' - we can't doubt that is VB - they might want to add 'wife to hot footballer' on to that list though, and will document her fashion label, Victoria Beckham, behind the scenes during the lead up to New York Fashion Week and the Victoria Beckham Fall/Winter 2014 show in February. Let's hope part of that involves a tour around Beckingham Palace eh?
