Charlie Sheen has shared some of his fortune to help people in need. According to TMZ, Sheen has donated $10,000 to a charity focusing on helping people with epilepsy. Last week, Sheen was on the set of his show "Anger Management" when he saw a man, Casey Jones, plastering a wall with some posters seeking donation for The Walk To End Epilepsy.

The posters featured Jones and his young grandson who was diagnosed with pediatric epilepsy at the age of three. Sheen, who is also a father of young children, apparently was touched by the story and donated $10,000.

In other news, Sheen was forced to cancel his appearance at the Baja Film Festival in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico because a private jet he boarded with his family had "potentially life threatening" issues. The actor took to Twitter on Saturday, November 16 to apologize for his absence.

"I boarded my plane this A.M with [Denise Richards], my daughters Sam and Lola, as well as my publicist Jeff Ballard and life long best friend Tony Todd. I allotted ample time to attend the event in a punctual and safe capacity. However we encountered a mechanical diversion that rendered the trip potentially life threatening," Sheen explained. "I am beyond apologetic and I ask all involved, to exercise grace and understanding in and around the headaches I'm certain this has created," he concluded.
