Victoria Beckham set to snub Spice Girls 20th anniversary tour

Victoria Beckham has told her former bandmates (Geri, Emma, Mel 1, Mel 2) that she won’t be making an appearance on a project 20th anniversary Spice Girls tour, thanks. / According to The Sun, Mel B is hella keen to make Spice 20 a thing, seeing the two-decade anniversary year as an opportunity for TV special, a reunion tour, a Class of ’92-style documentary and even a new song. DO HOLLER Pt. II.

But Victoria isn’t too bothered about performing live much beyond an Olympics-style one-off, actually, what with all that ‘fashion stuff’ she has going on.

“Victoria sees 2014 as a year to concentrate on her fashion label, not her music,” a source told the paper.

“She loved performing at the Olympics and reuniting, but that was a special event. Mel B has been working on project Spice 20 and sees that as a great opportunity to bring them all together.

“She sees the milestone as a chance for a TV documentary, new record and some shows. Victoria feels she won’t have the time or desire to work on performing live again.

“She will plough her energies into her label after renting out a swish new office in the West Chelsea neighbourhood of New York. She hopes to split her time between London and America in the next 18 months – how the Spice Girls fit into that is anyone’s guess.”
