Justin Bieber’s lawyers request 'drug-drive' trial held until July

Justin Bieber’s lawyers have successfully pushed back the Baby singer's trial.
The Canadian star will now face trial over alleged 'drug-driving' charges on 7 July.

Justin’s lawyer, Roy Blank, asked to move the trial to give the 20-year-old’s defence team more time to prepare and to give them longer to examine evidence.

Justin was arrested in Miami in January, after allegedly testing positive for Cannabis and a prescription drug. He’s also charged with ‘driving under the influence, driving with an expired licence and resisting arrest’.
Despite having this hanging over his head, Justin has still found time to annoy more people however.

Earlier today, we reported how the singer was forced to apologise to his fans after he posted a picture of himself at the Yasukuni shrine – which honours some of Japan’s most controversial war heroes.

To add to his faux pas, he wrote next to the snap, “Thank you for your blessings”.

He later apologised to his followers, writing:

“To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry. I love you China and I love you Japan.”
