“I’d rather choke on my own tongue” – so that’s a no to Miley Cyrus playing Tinker Bell on TV then
Miley Cyrus has used her Twitter account to rubbish claims that she’s interested in playing Tinker Bell in a live version of the classic childrens’ tale Peter Pan.
Miley simply said, “I’d rather choke on my own tongue,” (don’t joke about that Miley, the amount of lolling about it does that could actually happen) next to a screen grab of a report that claimed Tink was Miley’s dream role.
NBC in the US is following up their hugely successful live version of The Sound Of Music with Peter Pan this December.
Carrie Underwood starred in The Sound Of Music, but seeing as Miley has done everything in her power to shed her goody goody Disney image we can’t say we’re even remotely surprised to hear that she’s not interested in doing more kid-friendly TV.
Plus she’s far too busy riding a giant hot dog and getting her foof out on her Bangerz world tour.
Kim Kardashian not a fan of Khloe Kardashian’s footwear; “She keeps the ugliest shoes you have ever seen”
Kim Kardashian has reached out to sister Khloe Kardashian about a very important issue – her shoe collection. Kimmy is not a fan of Koko’s taste in footwear, and she’s used social media to publicly address Khloe’s problem.
Kim was asked by a fan which Kardashian sister she thinks has the best shoes, so she seized her opportunity to callout Khloe,
“I'm answering this in hopes Khloe sees this lol. Khloe and I fight every single time I go to her house because she has the most shoes," Kim wrote on the social media site MobioINsider.
"She is a shoe border [we think she mean hoarder]. She will buy the same pair of shoes in five colours. She keeps the ugliest shoes you have ever seen! It literally puts me in a bad mood thinking about it.”
Niall Horan took Selena Gomez out on a date… to Nando's
Why did Selena Gomez fly into London last week? We assumed she was here to attend the Brit Awards, but actually the 21-year-old singer was here to go on a date with Niall Horan.
And if this story wasn’t cute enough, Taylor Swift played matchmaker and set them up.
“Niall’s always fancied Selena, and he’s made no secret of it. So when he went to Taylor’s gig at the O2 London on 2 February he talked to her about setting them up,” a source reveals to heat.
“He’s just split from Barbra [Palvin] and Selena’s trying to get over Justin [Bieber] so it’s perfect timing,” the insider adds.
So where does one of the biggest boy band stars on the planet take his dates? He treated Selena to a Nando's. Oh, the romance.
“Niall’s exactly the kind of guy [Selena] needs right now,” explains heat’s source. “He’s so sweet, a total gentleman and 100 per cent not a player like Justin turned out to be.”
Simon Cowell is cautioned by the police for walking his dog in a pet-free zone
Moob-rocking new father Simon Cowell has been officially cautioned by the police for walking his beloved dogs, Squiddly and Diddly, along a pet-free zone. The police have not cautioned him for holding the dogs up to his red raw and naked chest like some sort of furry bra, though, which perhaps they should have.
The X Factor haircut took harem lottery-winner Lauren Silverman and their ten-day-old son Eric for a casual walk along a beach in Miami over the weekend, bringing six-month-old pooches Squiddly and Diddly along for the
But Florida police took exception to Simon’s shirtless goings on, and cautioned the supremo for walking Squidz and Didz in a marked pet-free zone. The 54-year-old got off with a written warning – which is good, because normally the offence comes with a $200 fine. And that would leave Simon with a net worth of only $390,999,800.
“[Simon] told them them he would not do it again,” an aghast onlooker told the Mirror. “He seemed happy that he got away with a telling off.” Yes, phew.
'The Voice' Season 6 Premiere: Bria Kelly Is Frontrunner on Blind Auditons
The former semi-finalist on
'America's Got Talent' as well as Christina Grimmie and Biff Gore get
all four coaches to turn their chairs in the two-hour season opener.
"The Voice"
officially kicked off its sixth season with the first part of Blind
Auditions on Monday, February 24. Following the tradition, the coaches
joined forces for a musical performance early in the premiere episode
before the competition began.
After Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira and Usher sang a medley of each other's songs, they took a seat on the iconic turning chairs. The first contestant to perform was Christina Grimmie, whose rendition of Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" got all four coaches to turn their chairs. She picked Adam as her coach.
T.J. Wilkins got the three male coaches fight over him after he performed "Benny and the Jets" by Elton John. The 23-year-old from South Central Los Angeles chose to be on Team Usher.
Adam and Shakira wanted Kristen Merlin, who sang "Something More" by Sugarland, on their team. Blake coaxed her into joining Team Shakira and the singing hopeful indeed chose Shakira as her coach.
Also scoring a spot in the competition was Biff Gore, a 45-year-old father of five. The full-time worship pastor's performance of "A Chance is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke captured the hearts of all four coaches, but he eventually picked Usher.
Adam and Shakira once again found themselves battling it out for a contestant, this time it was Dawn & Hawkes, a couple and a singing duo who performed "I've Seen a Face". Blake and Usher tried to convince them to join Team Shakira, but the duo chose to be with Adam instead.
Shakira later won over Blake when they turned their chairs for 26-year-old classic rocker Jeremy Briggs, who sang "Bad Company". Jake Worthington, who got rejected in season 5, returned and Blake recognized him after he and Adam quickly turned their chairs. Shakira also turned, but Jake landed his choice on Blake.
Bria Kelly was the last artist who performed that night and got a four-chair turnaround. She delivered a stunning performance of "Steamroller Blues" by James Taylor and despite having opened for Blake's wife Miranda Lambert, she chose to be on Team Usher. On a side note, Bria was a semi-finalist in season 7 of "America's Got Talent".

Ireland Baldwin to Become Fashion Correspondent at the Oscars
When asked of her upcoming
appearance, Ireland says, 'It just feels like you're having a
conversation... I'm into it, I love it.'
Ireland Baldwin is gearing up for her role as a fashion correspondent at the upcoming Academy Awards. According to Us Weekly, the 18-year-old model will be on TVGN Live With ET covering the red carpet event at the awards show, which takes place on Sunday, March 2.
"I'm not used to being on camera so it's interesting, but it's so much fun working with Joe," she said of her upcoming TV appearance. "It just feels like you're having a conversation... I'm into it, I love it." Ireland will join hosts including Nancy O'Dell, Rob Marciano, Rocsi Diaz, Brooke Anderson and Joe Zee.
While Ireland just started her career in entertainment industry, her father Alec Baldwin recently revealed in a piece published on New York Magazine that he wanted to quit public life. "Now I loathe and despise the media in a way I did not think possible," he wrote, referring to the aftermath of a high-publicized incident involving a paparazzo in 2013 where he was accused of being homophobic.
"I'm not a homophobic person at all," he said in the 5000-word piece. "But this is how the world now sees me. I haven't changed, but public life has. ... Now I don't want to be Mr. Show Business anymore."
Police Report: 'Midnight Rider' Was Denied Permission to Film on Railroad
According to the preliminary
report, 'there was electronic correspondence to verify' that CSX who
operate the train tracks didn't authorize the Gregg Allman movie's crew
to film on the railroad.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office has released a report concerning the fatal accident where a train crashed into the set of "Midnight Rider" killing one crew and injuring others. The report suggests the movie's production might not have had a permission to shoot on the train tracks which are operated by CSX.
In the preliminary report, executive producer Jay Sedrish said, "That's complicated," when asked about the matter. "According to the CSX employee, the production company had previously been denied permission to film on the trestle, and there was electronic correspondence to verify that fact," the report further states.
27-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Jones, a second camera assistant, was identified as the victim killed in the accident. Director Randall Miller himself fell on the tracks but he was pulled to safety by a photographer. At least seven others were injured, including one who was airlifted to a local hospital due to serious injuries to her arm and wrist.
Rumor has it, among the injured victims are Joyce Gilliard and Izabeau Giannakopoulos who were taken to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, and Zachary Graber, James C. Dewet, Margery Kimbrough and Tonya Verna who were treated at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Their condition is not known. Sound mixer Richard Lightstone and his production sound team were also "banged up" but they are OK.
The accident happened when the crew members were shooting a dream sequence on the railroad. They reportedly arranged the set on the tracks above Altamaha River after two scheduled trains passed through the area. But when a third train unexpectedly came, they didn't have enough time to step away safely.
The train was unable to stop and hit the bed placed on the track for the filming. The debris hit the crew who frantically scrambled to safety, and one large piece hit Jones knocking her onto the tracks. "All of us on the production team are devastated by the tragic accident that happened today," a representative for the movie production says in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of our crew member."
The film depicts Gregg Allman's life story. William Hurt is cast to play the Allman Brothers member, and The All-American Rejects rocker Tyson Ritter is tapped as the musician in his younger years. Allman himself serves as a producer. It's unclear how the accident might affect the movie's future.

Troian Bellisario and Patrick J. Adams Are Engaged
The 'Pretty Little Liars' actress
and her actor boyfriend, who met on the set of a play in 2009,
reportedly are engaged after three years of dating.
Troian Bellisario and her boyfriend Patrick J. Adams are engaged, PEOPLE reports. The couple apparently is ready to take the next step after three years of dating. The twosome first met on the set of a play in 2009. Representatives for both actors have not responded to requests for comments.
The "Pretty Little Liars" actress and her boyfriend spend much time away from each other because of working commitments. The 28-year-old actress works in Los Angeles where her project is filmed, while her 32-year-old boyfriend is filming his series "Suits" in Toronto.
"It's constant coordinating. It's really hard to be away from the person you love, especially when they're your rock and support system," Bellisario said back in October. "It's a challenge but it's kind of perfect because we're such analytic, hyper intelligent people that sometimes just to be in each other's faces all the time might have been too much for us." She gushed, "We're really growing!"
Bellisario, who shared photos on Instagram regularly, uploaded a photo of her with the background of Eiffel tower around Valentine's Day. She captioned the snap, "#regram of @halfadams last night was very unexpected. In the best way."
