Bieber talks about Gomez as he
stops by Big Boy's Neighborhood for Power 106 and confirms that 'All
That Matters' is about their story.
Justin Bieber still loves Selena Gomez although they broke up earlier this year. The Canadian pop star made the statement as he stopped by Big Boy's Neighborhood for Power 106 this week. In the radio session, Bieber also confirmed that his song "All That Matters" was about their romance.
"I wrote the best music once my heart was broken," Bieber told Big Boy. " 'All That Matters' was written when I was in a great place in my relationship, and at that time, she was all that mattered in my life."
Bieber continued explaining, "[The break up] affected us, especially when we are in front of so many people. It's such a public thing. It's just hard for the both of us. But you know, she's a great woman. I love her 'til this day." Despite the statement, Bieber apparently is not going back with Gomez. "I think we're going to be the greatest of friends. Right now we're taking a little time and not talking," he said.
It was the same radio session where Bieber said he would retire. "[After] the new album, I'm actually retiring, man. I'm retiring," he said with serious face. His management later explained that the pop sensation was just joking. "Of course it's not true," a representative told E! News.
