Will Smith is set to star in adventure movie City That Sailed.

 

The After Earth star has been linked to the 20th Century Fox project since 2010 but is now officially on board, reported Deadline.

The 45-year-old actor will also be a producer on the film through his Overbrook Entertainment company.
Night At The Museum filmmaker Shawn Levy is to direct the movie from a script by Audrey Wells.

The film will follow a dad and his daughter who are in Manhattan when the island breaks loose and starts drifting across the Atlantic. Will is set to play the father, but it is not yet known who will play the daughter.

The three photographers who "chased" Kim Kardashian on a Los Angeles freeway won't be charged under a 2010 law prohibiting reckless driving in pursuit of a paparazzi payday, a law enforcement source said Thursday.

In fact, a review of dash cam video and other evidence has failed to positively identify the two shutterbugs who "fled" the scene on the 101 Freeway Tuesday afternoon, CHP Officer Leland Tang told the Daily News.

The one paparazzo cited for jumping out of his car to snap photos on the shoulder will only have to pay the citation for his non-emergency freeway stop and suffer two points on his license, Tang said.
Cops said the paparazzi cars were pursuing the reality TV star at speeds up to 85 mph, but they were not weaving or pulling up alongside her black Rolls Royce like in a recent case involving pop star Justin Bieber.

The Bieber case led to charges but is now under appeal, and the Los Angeles city attorney declined to file a similar charge of reckless paparazzi driving in the Kardashian case pending its outcome, Tang said.

Kim Kardashian gets pulled over by the police and cited for speeding Tuesday. The reality star claimed she was evading paparazzi, but three photographers involved will not be charged.

"We're very concerned about this. These photographers are putting themselves and the motoring public at risk, all for a picture," he said. "They're distracted, obviously, because they want the picture and it's a disregard for the general public sharing the road."

Kardashian, 33, was cited Tuesday for speeding in her $300,000 custom car and released.
The three paparazzi vehicles pulled over during the traffic stop on the Van Nuys Blvd. off-ramp and helped snarl traffic on the busy roadway, cops said.

"They gave me a nice, dangling monetary moment, and I was just like, 'OK, Randy Jackson will be there," the 43-year-old pop star said. "I've known him forever. He used to play bass for me. Like, this isn't a big deal. This will be nothing."

"Honestly, I hated it," Carey said of judging the FOX show.

"But it wasn't that," she added. "It was like hell — going to work every day in hell with Satan."

Carey didn't refer to any of her coworkers specifically, but odds are that she wasn't talking about Keith Urban. During the past season of the show, Carey and judge Nicki Minaj often clashed.

In one Twitter spat, Minaj wrote "She's sad I tie her record for Hot 100 entries in only 3 years olf being in the game."

During her visit to U.K. radio station Capital FM, Miley Cyrus had a little fun with the recent entertainment news.

In a spoof of the Justin Bieber sleeping video that went viral after appearing on YouTube earlier this month, Cyrus, 20, replaces 27-year-old Brazilian woman Tati Neves.

The clip starts off just like the original — which has been viewed over 35 million times on YouTube — with Bieber, 19, asleep under a blanket on a hotel room couch.

The camera pans to show Cyrus posing seductively and rubbing her hands all over herself with her tongue out for a few seconds, before going back to show the sleeping Bieber.

Cyrus apparently had a really fun time during her visit to the British radio station. She also let one of the talk show hosts drum on her rear as part of their "Bum Bum Bongos" running joke segment.

Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux's wedding postponed ... again

The couple has been engaged since 2012, but there are no signs of when they'll actually walk down the aisle, as she has reportedly put her focus more on work.

Although Aniston reportedly threw herself into the planning of their nuptials in September with a source telling People, "She has included friends and seemed excited," the "Horrible Bosses" actress is now said to have returned her focus to her career.

Aniston recently chopped her hair, but now also reportedly cut something else short - - her wedding plans.

"Jen said she needed to focus on work," an insider told the mag.

The couple got engaged on Theroux's birthday in August 2012 after meeting in 2010, but this isn't the first time their plans of matrimony have been bumped to the side. The past holdup was said to have been due to the completion of renovations to their new Bel Air home.

Another thing she's reportedly put the brakes on is having a baby.

This would not be the first time a wedding for Theroux and Aniston was posponed. Nuptials were put on hold once before while their Bel Air home was being renovated.

"There was a lot of baby talk in the past, but she is not focused on it," the source added.

However, at 44, Aniston knows she doesn't have time on her side if she does want children with Theroux.
"She's aware her age makes it more difficult," the source revealed. "Her attitude is, 'If it happens, great, but if it doesn't, it wasn't meant to be.'"

Despite news of their wedding's postponement, Aniston and Theroux are still reportedly engaged. In fact, when they were spotted together at the Beverly Hills Hotel's Polo Lounge earlier this month, a source said they appeared to be very much in love.

"They always have to be touching and he always puts his arms around her," the source told E! News. "They are so in love and he is so good for her."
