Penelope Cruz tipped to be Bond girl in new James Bond film

Anyone else surprised that Penelope Cruz has never actually been a Bond girl before?

Well that’s all about to change by the looks of things – the 39-year-old is tipped to be James Bond’s ladyfriend in the next 007 installment.

How do we know this? Well it said so in a leaked document from movie-makers Sony.

James Bond producers are working on a follow-up to Skyfall, which starred Penelope’s husband Javier Bardem as villain Silva.

A source stold The Sun: “Bond bosses have been chasing her since Daniel became 007 in 2006. But schedules and her pregnancies meant it never materialised.

“At this stage no one at Sony will confirm it.”
