Kelly Rowland and Tim Witherspoon get engaged via Skype!

Can we still wear his n' hers when we get married?

 

Sunsets, holidays, trips to the Northern Lights...all perfectly reasonable engagement proposal settings. But Skype? Really?

We reported to you back on 19th November that we suspected Kelly Rowland was engaged to her boyfriend/manager Tim Witherspoon when we saw this gigantic rock on her left hand (not really hiding it, were you guys?), but now the news has been made official. Kel revealed all the deets during a pre-taped episode of The Queen Latifah Show, set to air tomorrow:

"He put a ring on it. It's been a while. We've kept it very, very low - for years, to be completely honest. [He proposed] um, on Skype. It was so late - we were just staring at each other."

Thank the Lord for Horlicks, eh? We're not sure we would have been entirely happy with a proposal via our iPad (probably because we would have been in our PJs scoffing biscuits), but we have to admit we would be more than happy with the massive diamond ring which Kelly later received to make up for it. We're very happy for Kelly and Tim. Congrats guys!
