After complaining about the wrong
lighting scheme, the rapper gets mad at a crew member named Laura for
forgetting to turn on the 'deep voice' effect on his mic.
Perfectionist Kanye West suddenly halted his show in Tampa, Florida over the weekend after things didn't go according to his plan. The Tampa Tribune said that the rapper was just a few seconds into the third song when he demanded that the music be stopped as he stormed off stage.
The lighting scheme was apparently wrong and West was clearly unhappy with it. He wanted all the lights to be shut off "now" before launching some expletives to the technical crew. Things worsened when a poor lady named "Laura" forgot to turn on the "deep voice" effect on his mic. He called her out in front of more than 7,000 fans who attended that night's concert.
Those mistakes weren't the only things that angered West that night. He wasn't pleased when his face appeared in color rather than black and white on the giant LED screen that hung center stage.
West exited the stage for only five minutes before returning to sing "Send It Up", a track off his "Yeezus" album, as if nothing had happened.
West's "Yeezus" tour kicked off back in October. Early last month, the star announced that he had canceled and rescheduled several tour dates after a truck carrying concert equipment crashed on its way to Vancouver. The tour is wrapping up later this month in Toronto, Canada.
