In the behind-the-scenes clip, the
'Diamonds' singer says that people are probably expecting 'really soft
and pretty' but the video will actually be a very 'demented' one.
Rihanna has decided to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of her anticipated "What Now" music video. In the sneak-peek clip, which arrived via Vevo on Wednesday, November 13, the Bajan beauty reveals what to expect from her upcoming project.
"It's gonna be kinda eery, very creepy because 'What Now' is one of those songs that you can get really boring with the visual," Rihanna says. "Everybody's probably expecting like a narrative type of video, a love story of some sorts, something really soft and pretty. It is pretty and kinda soft, but it's really a little demented."
Shot in Phuket, Thailand last September, the music video will feature Rihanna dancing to the ballad in front of a white backdrop. In another scene, the 25-year-old artist will be seen wearing a black dress while smoking a cigar in an all-black room.
"What Now" is the fifth single off "Unapologetic", Rihanna's latest album that was released last year. The full version of the video will be available on Vevo on Friday, November 15.
