The U.K. leg of the pop singer's upcoming tour will kick off in Belfast on May 17, 2014, and wrap up in London on May 30.
Katy Perry has announced that she will embark on a world tour in support of her newest album, "Prism". On Monday, November 18, the 29-year-old singer took to Twitter to unveil the U.K. dates of her anticipated "Prismatic" tour that is set to kick off on May 17, 2014 at Belfast's Odyssey Arena.
During her visit to the U.K., Perry will also hit several arenas in cities like Newcastle, Nottingham, Glasgow, Manchester and Liverpool. She will then bring her tour to London for three shows at the city's O2 Arena on May 27, 28 and 30.
Swedish duo Icona Pop is set to hit the road with the pop star after they finish opening for Miley Cyrus' "Bangerz" tour. "I'm bringing my friends @iconapop to Belfast, Newcastle, Nottingham, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield and LONDON!" Perry tweeted.
The "Roar" hitmaker has promised that more dates are going to be announced soon, adding, "DON'T WORRY - more GLOBAL tour dates coming soon! I can't wait to get closer to ALL of you than ever before! #THEPRISMATICWORLDTOUR." Tickets for the shows will go on sale on November 22.
Perry's previous tour, "California Dreams", included 124 shows in cities across the world. It became one of the most successful tours of 2011 with a total gross of $48.8 million. That tour was in support of Perry's "Teenage Dream", which spawned five No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
