The new video features the former
Nickelodeon star performing the country song in a recording studio with
singer/songwriter Corey Crowder who plays his guitar and serves as
backing vocalist.
The music video for Jamie Lynn Spears' debut single, "How Could I Want More", has arrived online. Premiered on Ryan Seacrest's ryanseacrest.com on Tuesday, November 26, the three-and-a-half-minute clip is quite simple as it features the former Nickelodeon star performing the tune in a recording studio that's been beautifully decorated with light bulb pendant.
The 22-year-old singer is joined by singer/songwriter Corey Crowder, who plays his guitar and serves as a backing vocalist. In black-and-white scenes, Jamie Lynn is seen at the mixing board and putting the finishing touches on the country song.
Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn's older sister, has expressed her excitement over the video's arrival. She wrote on Twitter, "Can't believe how beautiful my sister looks in her #HowCouldIWantMore video. OMG!"
"How Could I Want More" and its accompanying music video precede Jamie Lynn's upcoming country album which she's currently still working on. The singer, who took a break from entertainment business after getting pregnant at 16, recently talked about continuing her music career.
"I don't think you just wake up one morning and decide you're going to sing. It's something I've always done," she told E! News. "But as a young child, like I said, all that was offered to me. You don't know how to say, like, 'Oh, this is what I want for the rest of my life.' You can't make those kind of decisions at 10 years old."
"It's seeing it all here and it's real," she continued. "It's like, 'Oh my goodness, I'm really gonna do this.' It's like my second baby."
