Maids to measure: Little Mix's Perrie Edwards reveals that bandmates will be bridesmaids at wedding to One Direction's Zayn Malik

They are performing on the X Factor this weekend, but girl band Little Mix have other things to think about.

The four-piece have been busy getting excited about Perrie's forthcoming wedding to One Direction's Zayn Malik.
And they have every right to - because Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwal will be the bridesmaids.

Perrie, 20, revealed the news in The Sun, before adding that the other One Direction boys - Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson - will participate in the ceremony as ushers.
Fortunately for fans, they won't have to wait long to see the action happen. 'I don’t want to be engaged for 50 years. We’ll get there soon,' she said yesterday.

She also added that the big day will have quite a long guestlist. 'I actually wanted to have quite a small wedding, but then all the girls in my family are desperate to come and would like to be bridesmaids too,' she added.

'I realise my wedding is every journalist’s dream. It’s going to be like the movie 27 Dresses where the bride has like a billion bridesmaids.'
Currently, the Little Mix girls are preparing for the release of their upcoming second album, Salute, which they recorded in London and Los Angeles.
Jesy Nelson said of their latest record: 'We mostly recorded it over here, but we did some in America which was quite fun, in Will Smith’s studio. Unfortunately we didn’t meet him.

Following the One Direction film premiere, Zayn and Perrie are seen heading to the after party in London

Little Mix’s new single Move will be released on November 3, and is taken from their forthcoming album Salute, which will be available from November 11.
The wedding is expected in 2014.
