Bit weird… Ronan Keating to play Postman Pat in the new, erm, Postman Pat movie

So… basically… what it is… is Ronan Keating is going to be playing Postman Pat in Postman Pat: The Movie.
Snazzy name…
Well, the Boyzone star will take on the role of singing Pat, and Stephen Mangan (the dark-haired guy from Green Wing and Episodes) is the voice of Postman Pat when he’s just chatting.

Ronan said: “It's been a true honour to help bring Postman Pat's singing voice to life. I grew up watching Pat and all the great characters in Greendale so I can't wait to take my kids along to see them all on the big screen.”
As well as taking on the role of singing Pat, Ronan also has a cameo appearance in the film, appearing as a contestant who competes against Pat for a very special prize.
Sounds tense…
Jim Broadbent (Moulin Rouge!), Rupert Grint ie Ron Weasley and David Tennant (Doctor Who) are also in Postman Pat: The Movie.
