Kanye West is working on a 3-hour spoken word album. Our ears are bleeding already

Kanye has some BIG tunes. And even better videos (cough, Bound 2, cough). But we’re not so sure about hearing him ramble on in Kanye-fashion for three hours with no music to, you know, make it actually sound good.

But Kanye has new plans. He’s said to be releasing three hours of his deepest thoughts on vinyl for fans. Kanye will be talking about music, art and the environment, apparently.

A source told The Sun: “Kanye loves the sound of his own voice and this will be the ultimate in self-indulgence. He’s forever recording his opinions on tape. He says he’s doing it for posterity and thought about turning them into a book or even donating them to a museum.”

Donating the recordings to a museum, for posterity?! Kanye, how very kind of you.

The source has also revealed: “Kanye likes to push the boundaries and thinks this is very groundbreaking.

He’s hoping it’ll win him a Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album. What’s more, he’s planning on making 24 hours of his speech recording available to download so fans can listen to his views round the clock.”
